Love the quality of this item. Easy to clean, come assemble and sealed close. Items are nice size and Light weight. I like tge are made of plastic and not wood. Very happy with this purchase.

My 22m old son loves playing with these. He just learned that he can take the lids off himself and put them back on so they are keeping him entertained! The quality is great, they feel sturdy and aren’t likely to get crushed. I do wish they stacked more easily

Good quality food cans made to last with the roughest of kids. Nice variety of canned like foods with semi-tight lids for little hands. Labels are bright and realistic looking.

I purchased these, Melissa & Doug Let's Play House, 10 Grocery Cans with Removable Lids, Toy Food & Play Kitchen Accessories, Preschool Learning Toys for Girls & Boys 3+. I purchased these for my grandkids. I previously got them a mini farmer's market stall and play kitchen, and am adding creative and fun but realistic toys for them to play with. As well as realism, these offer vivid colors that come in perfect child-sized cans. These already come "assembled", but...some children and especially toddlers may find the lids are a bit difficult to put on and take off. I think with prolonged use, the lids may loosen up to fit better. These are made of super heavy duty cardboard-kind of like mailing tubes for artwork, and the lids are thick plastic. These are very giftable and offer a nice variety of replica canned goods. I feel these are a very good value for creative, constructive, educational play.

If you're a parent, knowing that this is a Melissa & Doug product might be all that you need to know. The company has a reputation for making some high-quality childrens' products. If you're only reading this review to figure out whether this is a well-made product, you might not need to read any further - it's a good product and a good value at this price. Okay, still reading? This is definitely a good product, and my children really enjoy playing with it. We purchased this along with the Melissa & Doug "Fridge Food Set" and found both to be great "food" toys, but although the kids play with them at the same time, the products are rather different from each other. This product contains a set of "cans" which feature very nice graphics (or "labels") and removable plastic can lids. I appreciate that although the lids are removable, they fit tightly enough that they are never in danger of falling out accidentally. The cans themselves are made from a heavy paper or cardboard type product, and seem durable. With 19-month-olds currently playing with them, I can also appreciate the relative light weight of each of the cans - when thrown (not that we encourage throwing food cans in our house!!) the cans cause no damage to people, pets, or surrounding objects. In summary, I'd definitely buy this again. It might not be exactly what I expected when I originally ordered it, but the kids love playing with it, and I feel it's a good value at this price.

These are so cute and way better than I expected. Very high quality!

These are sturdy and promote lots of imaginative play, from grocery shopping to pretend cooking and restaurants. Every Melissa & Doug product I have purchased has been money well spent.
