Does the job fine. i clamp it to a table, pop a spool of line in, and reel away. It's a bit low quality but more than enough if you're only going to need it a handful of times a season. Only complaint is i wish the springs were a bit stronger, to provide a bit more tension for the line. It still feels a little loose when reeling onto the spool, and i like the line to be a bit tighter on my reel.

So when using this I advise using tape on the real before you start loading The line onto your real. While spinning it up if not tight enough, if you stop midway and or not paying attention the fishing line seems to come loose and gets wrapped around the mechanism.. And if you overtighten it efficient line seems to curl up easily when casting

worked ok for the money, I spooled 1/2 dozen reels or more and it made life a lot better, for the money it will work, I did not use suction, I clamped it to my work bench

I was really tired but of having to hold the line and crank it onto the reel, all the while trying the keep the line taut … now, I have something that is easy to use and really works great!Simply clamp it to any work surface (I used my office desk top), set the tension and literally had 300 yards of braided line on my Penn reel in no time.The description asks to rate certain things, and “suction” was one of them … it does NOT stick … it clamps, so I didn’t rate that but I would give it 5 stars for clamping!Highly recommend this for all sizes of fishing line spools of filament … would certainly purchase again!(And the neat bag keeps everything in one place and easy to keep up with).

Finally broke down and asked my wife for one on Fathers Day… filled 3 reels the first night, and it was easier than I could’ve imagined. The lines were tight on the spool, it never slid around after I tightened it, and overall was simple to use. 100% would recommend to friends/family.
