I recently purchased the COVERGIRL Perfect Blend Eyeliner Pencil in Smoky Taupe 130, and I must say, it really has exceeded my expectations for a cheap, afforable eyeliner when it comes to achieving the perfect natural cut crease and defining my eyebrows.First and foremost, the Smoky Taupe shade is absolutely spot-on for creating a natural cut crease. It's not too dark or too light, making it an ideal choice for achieving that subtle, well-defined crease if you have a more pale complexion like me. The texture of the pencil isn't too dry and has a smooth glide but still allows for precise lines.Its blending tip is incredibly helpful when it comes to creating that flawless, smudge-free cut crease. You can define a perfect line or softly smudge it, and it looks pretty seamless.I've also found it to be great for defining my eyebrows. The same Smoky Taupe shade is versatile enough to create a natural look that doesn't appear harsh or overdone. I have relatively dark blonde/light brown hair and it matches perfectly.It really is water-resistant, and I've noticed that it stays put all day no matter the weather or activity. It's reliable, and I don't have to worry about constant touch-ups with greasy eyelids, especially with a base layer of powder underneath.The versatility, ease of use, and the fact that it's water-resistant make it a top choice for anyone looking to have a basic neutral pencil. Great product! Easy to put on & easy to take off. Doesn't smudge too much & lasts all day! Great for the waterline & those with watery eyes. I have been using this eyeliner for 20+ years. Have not found anything else comparable.

These were the wrong color but the pencils are long lasting and quite smooth if you keep the point sharpened

I don’t know why I was spending so much money on eyeliner. I forgot how good these are. Absolutely beautiful, doesn’t smudge or smear and is a deep color, easy to apply.

I love these old school eye pencils! I can’t stand the gel and liquid liners. Give me a pencil eyeliner with smudger any day of the week. Cover Girl is tried and true. I’ve been using it since the early 80s. It is easy to sharpen, can create thin or dramatic lines, applies smoothly, and can create a smoky eye with the smudging tip. The color is strong and makes your eyes really stand out.

I don't have cool colored eyes, like green or blue or hazel. Mine are plain poop colored brown. I had been searching for a pencil eyeliner to make my eyes pop a bit from their dullness. I quickly came across this Covergirl eyeliner for $3. Eyeliners are really tricky to find in drug stores these days, and I wanted a pencil eyeliner that I could sharpen. I was hesitant to order from amazon since the shipping is ridiculous if you’re not a prime member; but I gave it a try anyway.Anyways, this product was easy to apply, but the durability of it was awful and quickly wore. The applicability of it is smooth and direct and I love the pencil feel, rather than liquid or crayon. I am also able to easily sharpen it once it dulls which is handy. The blending tip on the other end was a useful addition, and I often used to wipe off excess eyeliner. Liquid eyeliners are difficult to apply and the crayon-like ones break easily and don’t twist.So overall, I would rate it a 6/10 just because it wore so easily and I can’t go more than an hour without it completely rubbing off. I tried searching for the same product but waterproof, but Covergirl doesn’t carry one. Much better than the Jumbo NYX eyeliner though. That stuff is an actual rip off piece of junk. Pretty disappointing because this particular product would have so much more potential if it was just waterproof. Not bad for $3 though. I don’t have time throughout my busy days to reapply eyeliner, so it was kind of a useless product at the end of the day. Great applicability, but bad day wear.
