Good price for what you get not sure if it’s real leather but smells like it

I have had 4 or 5 other wallets similar to this one. But none were of the quality of this one. All the others I had to struggle to get my cards in & out of the wallet. With this one, it very easy to get cards out of the wallet. I love the color and the the quality of the grain of the leather. Very good wallet.

Not having to carry a bulkey item.

I had a different version of this item about 10 years ago. This was before the Access Denied brand was available on Amazon.Glad to say that it still feels like a well made product.Most people use the windowed slot for their ID card. Since there is no RFID protection on the windowed slot, I use it for my Clipper card. That way I don't need to take the card out.For the side with three slots, I purposely put the cards in that order. The slot with the thumb hole is saved for my most used card. Since I have a large family, my dedicated food card is there.The middle slot is saved for my Costco card since I don't go there as often. Since the middle slot is a bit more difficult to take any card out, it made sense for me to put the Costco card there.The top slot is just for easy access to a non-American Express card that I use the most.Since I have a bad ID photo, my ID card sits in the cash slot. Far away from anyone's eyes.I was accustomed to a larger bifold wallet. Loved it until I missed the convenience of having less in my pocket. A slim wallet like the Access Denied wallet will help you figure out what is really essential for your day to day. This wallet is not ideal for people that truly need to carry a lot of cards. With the rise of Google Wallet and Apple Pay, my need for a larger wallet is not really there.

Texture and color are nice. The fit for all the cards and ID is perfect.

My ideal form factor, but very cheaply made. After 10 months all of the slots are so loose it can't securely retain cards any more and needs to be replaced. The side slot is not big enough to fit a Tile Card so I had to sacrifice one of the main card slots to hold it.

I went from a bifold wallet to this minimalist wallet and I couldn’t be happier. I chose the black coarse leather I believe. After going through my bifold wallet and choosing only what I wanted in the AD (Access Denied) wallet, I realized I had cards I never used so it was easy to decide which cards I wanted in the AD wallet. Here’s what I like. It’s small enough to put in your front pocket. The cards fit great but what it could use is the opening on both sides that allow you to slide your ID or credit cards should be able to slide every card on either side of the wallet meaning all the way to to the last card. Also the middle has an opening for folded cash money but the cash sticks out a little. It could use about .25 inch of elastic on the other end so it could fit a little better. I only carry $20-30 cash at a time. Other than that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wallet if you’re tired a carrying a big bulky wallet. I hated carrying a bifold and sitting in it where I would develop back pain and I always feared being pick pocketed from my back pocket. It’s 2019 and we mostly pay for things with either our phones or cards. If you’ve been looking for a great minimalist wallet then this is the one to get. I’ve tried others and this one really serves me well.
