Excellent Quality
The Kent pocket comb is a high quality and very sturdy comb that can easily fit in your pocket. I've purchased this comb after getting tired of other plastic ones scratching my hand or the bristles being bent over time. This comb does a great job as the bristles are curved to not scratch and are glossed over so that it only combs your hair in a smooth way. For the price point, you can't go wrong with this brush. It lasts long and will be the only comb you need.Overall: 5/5Recommendation: Buy this comb if you use plastics ones often and carry where you go.Pros:- Great quality material so not easy to break- Does not scratch head- Bristles are smooth when combing- Pocket size so you can take it everywhereCons:- It is a bit small so you might lose it easier

Well-made
Well-made comb (7T). It is about 5" long, with teeth about 9/16". I had an Ace comb for probably well over a decade, and unfortunately recently lost it. According to reviews, Ace is no a longer the thick, well-made rubber comb it once was. So I decided to try this Kent based on reviews. I was not disappointed. It is as billed, smooth-edged and fairly flexible. It might break if bent hard, but in ordinary usage and storage, in pocket, or wherever, should be fine. The shorter teeth, 9/16", are not a problem for me, since I have fairly short, fine hair. I had my wife try it, since she has long hair, and she didn't like it.I also bought the Ajax combs to try. The teeth on it are up to 3/4". The comb is as reviewed, sharp-edged. I used my fine grit knife sharpener to round the teeth edges. It is now not too bad, but the teeth are thin, so it still isn't nearly as nice as this Kent comb. If cost isn't a factor, I would recommend this Kent comb.

It's just a comb. But a very good one.
I used Ace "hard rubber" pocket combs for half a century, until they switched to plastic combs that were brittle and breakable, and had very sharp teeth that were scratchy and painful. The Kent comb is expensive (though less than "legacy" Ace hard rubber combs go for on auction sites). They are well made, comfortable on the scalp, and glide through hair very nicely. I do have to rotate the way I carry it my hip pocket, as a curve tends to set in if I carry it in the same position. I've lost a couple of combs, but I have yet to break one, or even a single tooth. I'll continue to use the Kent combs -- especially my favorite, the 7T.

A great comb but less of it (shrinkflation).
This is a wonderful comb. Well made and smooth for easy combing. It's a handy size that works well for the pocket or bathroom. But, like so many other products produced to day, there is less of it to like. The comb's spine is noticeably thinner than the same model from several years ago (I'd guess 20-25% thinner). This does not impact the comb usage but its durabilty may be a concern. For a comb that was already on the expensive side, this was not necessary. It's the world we live in. Still a very nice comb.

The Rolls Royce of Pocket Combs
Unlike virtually all other combs, which are molded from plastic, Kent combs are handmade. The manufacturing process begins with a blank piece of high grade plastic from which craftsmen hand cut each comb with a saw, which is then polished to a smooth finish. The resulting comb has a quality feel, pulls smoothly through your hair/beard, and the teeth feel comfortable rubbing against your scalp. In my opinion, the 143mm all fine pocket comb is the best all around pocket comb that Kent offers with only fine teeth. If you are looking for a similar pocket comb with both coarse and fine teeth, I recommend the Kent R7T (link: Kent The Handmade Comb - 143 mm Fine and Coarse Toothed Pocket Comb Sawcut R7T). The company (G B Kent & Sons Ltd) has been manufacturers of brushes since the eighteenth century and is one of the oldest established companies in Great Britain. It has royal warrants as "Best British Brushes" from every British monarch going back to George III. Considering its quality and heritage, this comb is an exceptional value. Treat yourself to the best!
