Women's Wedgie Skinny Jeans (Standard and Plus)

I have been eyeballing these jeans for a while and decided to buy them because I couldn’t stop wishing I had them every time I got dressed. I’m a pretty small gal — 5’3 and about 95 pounds. Thin with long skinny legs and a decent behind but narrow hips. Buying jeans has always been a headache for me so I gambled and got a size 24 expecting them to be big.They ended up fitting me PERFECTLY! EXACTLY how you would want a good pair of jeans to fit, hugging the right places while feeling comfortable. The problem is the butt! “Wedgie” fit seemed questionable, but these pants don’t actually give a wedgie…because they’re too busy giving you a flat butt! The pockets on these jeans are pretty big and placed in an unflattering position and even if you have a nice, perky behind…these will humble you or make you possibly want to cry. I thought I was just being hard on myself (oh, I’m getting old and losing my butt, I need to go to the gym, etc.) so I asked my husband and he said, “Why are the pockets so big? Those are man sized pockets!” so he confirmed my suspicion of the weird unflattering pocket debate. I loved these jeans. The fit was great, the style…but the butt pockets ruined them for me. Let me add that I’m not expecting those weird trendy tricks to make your butt look bigger (the cinching, the tiny slanted pockets, the shading and whispering), I just wanted some normal butt pockets like my other Levis have. I’m not sure why these are so unflattering, but it was enough to make me return them knowing that I’ll forever feel uncomfortable and awkward looking if I wore them.

Great fit very flattering but no stretch so size up

I've been struggling with my weight for the last I-don't-know-how-many years and was in need of some new jeans, so I went on a Levi's buying spree, seeing as how everyone has been gushing about how amazing theirs are. I've tried on a few pairs/styles in the past (in stores) and was never blown away for the price and extreme hype, but I figured I'd try again. My current favorite jeans are from AE (10) and D. Jeans (8).For sizing reference, I suspect I'm currently somewhere between a size 10-14 (depending on the brand), around 43"-32.5"-44" (bust-waist-hip), and I'm 5'3"; I have a shorter torso with longer legs so generally stick with regular length.I got these in the color Opal Shimmer in both a size 31 and 32 because the reviews about sizing were so mixed, plus having a decently sized peach and thighs can really make sizing hard to figure out. The pair of 31 ended up being a little tighter on me than I'd prefer, so those were a no. I'm wearing the 32 in the pictures and liked the fit well enough; they were a little tight on my butt and squished it down some, but the waist was good and the 33 would have been too loose elsewhere, so I think they were my correct size. I wanted to note that I've never had a size 14/32 fit me before trying Levi's, so I'm not sure if that means I've gained more weight or if this brand/pair may fit a tad small. The jean material was very stiff and thick without much give, which I usually feel makes for a smaller/tighter fit; the button fly was stiff as well and helped flatten my tummy area, but it was not comfortable. I can imagine they will loosen up with a wash and a few hours of wear, but I decided against keeping them, as I can find plenty of jeans that look great on my assets without being this uncomfortable. I would possibly consider buying them again if they went on sale, just to see if they could be converted to a zip fly and softened up in the wash, but it's unlikely I'd actually go to the trouble.I will say that I really loved the color of the wash (they’re the perfect light jean shade) and felt they were well-made and sturdy, so the price fits. I wish Levi’s made this exact Wedgie Skinny style in a slightly softer denim with a zipper fly, but they unfortunately do not.

I ordered two pairs of these on black Friday, and I was so excited to receive them! These jeans are supposed to be perfect for ladies with bigger butts and small waists right? I have the wedgie shorts in wedgie from the block, and they're my absolute favorite. So I ordered the same color and size. The waist and butt fit perfectly, but right under my butt the fit is inconsistent. There are a couple places where the fabric folds over a little. Usually that means they're too big, but since I wouldn't want to go any smaller in the waist, I have to live with slightly looser legs. Based on how my shorts fit, I thought these jeans would be perfect for my body type but it's not quite the same. So that's a little frustrating.I also ordered the Pacific blue color, and those ones had a better fit through the leg, and super cute distressing, BUT the outside seam on one leg was crooked and came forward toward my ankle. That's a deal breaker for me with jeans so those unfortunately are going back.There are good points, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. The material is substantial with just enough stretch, the colors are great, and the waist/butt really are perfect. I'm probably a little too picky about the rest of the details most people would never notice. I would give these 3.5 stars if I could but giving them the benefit of the doubt because we're not all shaped the same and these high quality jeans will look amazing on lots of people.

These are sooooooo good! I’ve worn the Levi 501 skinny’s for ages but they are getting hard to get hold of in the UK. I saw these and they looked nice. They are better than nice. They fit like an absolute dream. So comfortable I love them. Now looking for more colours. I’m a size UK 10 and bought a size 28 (US 6).

Looove these wedgie skinny jeans!! I got two pairs. The blue spice is just the perfect lighter shade, and the rips are small. The fit is soooo nice and does well for your booty! I also got it in the Flash Back black but I cannot for the life of me get my foot thru. It’s so strange! After A LOT of hard work and pulling I managed to get my left foot thru, but never managed to get the right one. My foot was hurting when taking this pic. So four stars because of that, and this pair is being returned.

I have ordered multiple pairs of these wedgie skinny jeans through Amazon after Levi's discontinued them and they have been unavailable for purchase directly through the Levi's site.Although I have ordered multiple pairs through Amazon and I enjoy them all, there are definite inconsistencies between pairs of the same size and colour. Some have a bit of stretch and some are completely rigid. The tags list the same materials and match my original pairs direct from the Levi's website, but not every pair from Amazon is the same as the originals from the Levi's website. 2 of the 4 black pairs pairs match identically, 2 of them have more stretch and seem to be made of a slightly thinner denim. 2 of the 3 blue pairs match identically and 1 has more stretch, also seemingly thinner as well.That being said, I continue to purchase them through Amazon as it's the only option at the moment, and despite the inconsistencies, both of the versions I appear to have received are great quality and are staples in my wardrobe.The original wedgie skinny from Levi's are stuff with very little stretch, similar to the other wedgie fits they still stock. Some of the Amazon ones match this, some are more similar to the Levi's shaping skinny, a bit more stretch and a slightly thinner material. I like both, even though the products are inconsistent or possibly not genuine.High rise, has room for hips and thighs but stiff material really provides shaping and support, the rear is lifted. Both versions will give you the best looking tushy of your life. However, the stiffer version can be uncomfortable to sit in until they are broken in, although they look great and conceal any muffin top, the thicker low stretch denim just holds everything in.I'll continue to purchase these, genuine or not, because they are the best jeans for me and my shape. Not too long in the legs, slims my thighs, holds in my hips and lower belly, cinches the waist, and lifts my bum. Very flattering if you're a soft girl with curves and prefers the extra support of stiffer denim instead of the flexibility of high stretch denim that doesn't really hold in or conceal.For reference, I'm generally a size 8, 5'4", 155lbs, evenly proportioned soft hourglass figure. The 30' waist fits well and provides the support I'm looking for, I can also wear the 29' waist comfortably after breaking in.

Great! I ordered them a bit bigger than my normal size, but that's just personal preference! I ordered a 29W instead of a 29 regular (mainly because they were out of my normal size and I was desperate for new jeans...) They're great quality. They arrived before the expected delivery date! Perfect Levi's and my favourite style. I find that Levi's jeans gap a bit in the back on me, but I wear belts most of the time anyways so that's not really an issue.

The denim is thick and they fit like a nice firm pair of skinny jeans but these are most definitely fake. You can tell the stitching is not as nice as genuine levis. The back tag that should be leather is thin cardboard. Not sure it would even hold up in the wash. The back tag on the side of the pocket doesn't even say Levi's on it. All the hang tags are far less detailed than genuine levis hang tags. Don't waste your time and money on these. They are charging top dollar for a bad fake. I can't believe Amazon is peddling these!
