Balaclava - Summer Sun Protection Motorcycle Fishing Sun mask Breathable Windproof Long Face Mask for Men Women

I purchased two of these for some plague doctor costumes back in October and plan to use them again come August. They're nice and cool, lightweight and breathable, they keep the sun off you wonderfully, and they won't cause you to heat up. The fabric itself is gentle on the skin and not too tight, though their stretch leaves something to be desired. It does stretch, just not very far, maybe only an inch or two. Regardless, I'm extremely happy with them, and they're amazing to wear underneath of our motorcycle helmets.

Just what I was looking for to add to my plague doctor costume. Covers the head well, drapes far out over the shoulders so it will stay tucked under my shirt. Lightweight and breathable. We’ll see how it works after a long, hot day at a Renaissance fair.

I bought this to use as a Balaclava hood underneath a custom Netflix Daredevil helmet, and it's awesome! Not only it fits the look, but now, I primarily use it underneath all my masks/helmets for cosplaying. It's pretty comfy and better than the other hood I was using previously. I love how the hood extends past the neck and onto the chest. Keeps me pretty cool when I sweat underneath my masks/helmets. Overall, I highly recommend this as an ideal hood to use under a mask/helmet for cosplay!

It's pretty good. It's just a little baggy up on the top. I asked for black but they sent me Gray instead. Not the color I wanted but I'll have to make do.

I've been using it for a little while now as I work outside most of the time. And it has been a lifesaver. Coverage extends down past the collar of my shirt, and the ability to change from a full mask to a half mask keeps me cooler when it gets too hot. The breathable mesh is a great feature too.

These work great, wish I would have bought one sooner. The 2 things I like the most about this balaclava, are its length on the chest, and its "hinge" system. Basically you can put this on before you put your jacket on, and not have to untuck it from your jacket whenever you stop. Simply just pull the top part off of your head, and you now have a regular neck gator, which makes putting in earplugs even easier. No more riding up and causing a wind gap!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Must have for riding your motorcycle. Provides great neck coverage to keep the sun off your neck.

I was really impressed with this balaclava! Especially for wearing in the summer? This was the best I have ever tried; well, the ONLY one I have tried for summer wearing! While I read it was for motorcycle and cycling use, I tried it the other day while mowing my lawn. A lot of my lawn goes uphill since I am in mountainous terrain. I only use a push mower because of this. I also get very hot. I was out in the sun, and it was doing an awesome job! One, it kept my face sweat free, that is until the corners of my eyes started producing sweat, but it also kept the insects away from my face, which has ALWAYS been a problem in North Carolina. Once I removed it when I was done, I found The bottom one and a half to 2 in of my hair was damp, but that was it. Also when we only got a very slight amount of wind, it would help cool me off! I am very happy with this balaclava, as I didn't think you could use one in the summer, I guess I was wrong! Afterwards, I just washed it on warm cold machine wash, and hung it up to dry.

Theyre pretty loose which makes them look a bit silly. Also not very practical for hot summer weather bc it adds an extra layer to your upper chest/back, probably better for spring/fall.

Lightweight and feels cool on skin

Breathable. I've had a nice day of biking at 35 C / 95 F.
