2024 version won't network at all!!
Ordered 6 units. 4 work fine (black logos, 2022 version). The other 2 won't network with anything at all, not even each other (white logos, 2023 version). Please replace with 2 more of 2022 verson!Notice how the other reviewer with the same problem also had the 2024 version. That means the problem has been unsolved for over 1 year!

Too loud, damages ears
Rarely does a product work too well. The sound of this alarm is so loud I may have damaged my ears testing it. I still have a ringing in my ear 10 hours later. Seriously, if you buy this thing, wear ear plugs when testing it. It’s startling. Buyer beware.

Smoke detector tests out great.
No problem the installation at all for me I just used the same base plate as I had already used and attached the new smoke detector right there. as of this time we really haven't challenged it but tested it a few times and it works great all the units talk to each other and that's good I can see that going on I'm having a little bit better difficulty attaching it to Alexa I may need to have a different router.
