My Mother Is the Strongest: A Story About Homebirth Paperback – Large Print, May 2, 2018

I loved this book for birth preparation for my kids. I think it really helped them grasp the concept of home birth better. The phrasing is great, and the vocab, I also liked the illustrations, very homey and simple.

This book was great for my toddler as we prepped for a homebirth this past year. The book was a bit wordy for my toddler but we would tell our own story guided by the pictures to make it hit home better for her. I hope to share it with our new sweet babe when she is older!

This is such an adorable book to help prepare my 21 month old for the birth of her baby brother soon. She loves the book. A bit for older children, but awesome descriptions and interactions!

My daughter is 4 and im about to have my second daughter at home again. This book has amazing illustrations to familiarize your little ones about what will be happening! My daughter now understands that my labor will be intense and i may be loud and animal like haha as well as us having a birthing tub present and mom will be in there with dad! I love this book and would recommend it if youre having a home birth and have a little one!

Good enough book. My son liked it and it definitely did what it was meant to do which is acclimate him to the idea of homebirth.In the illustrations there is a woman who seems to be a midwife, i pointed her out because we had a midwife, but the text makes no mention of a midwife. In the text, only the father assists with the birth.

It's incredibly entertaining for my 3 year old, and he's using terms from the book. Highly recommend it.People complain that's it's about unassisted birth. Even thought the books focus is on the mom, there is a Midwife that is shown in the illustrations, unpacking and later watching the baby come.Highly recommend it, and if you plan to have a Midwife, get it with a few other books like Hello Baby.

Aw it's the perfect book for all the conversations that I needed to have with my daughter for our upcoming homebirth. I love it because it's not gender specific boy or girl baby or older sibling so they can really imagine theirselves in the story. The paper dolls in the back are also really cool. I've tried to buy all homebirth books and this is my favorite.
