We designed our heavy-duty insulated Boondock manufacturing boots to provide industrial-grade protection from every angle. Starting with their Premium Timberland waterproof leather upper with an internal waterproof, breathable membrane for maximum waterproof protection, we added 200 grams of insulation for cold-weather comfort and to retain heat, our molded Timberland PRO rubber toe protector that's as thick as a standard boot outsole and backed with a composite safety toe, a rigid external heel cup to support lateral movement, and our Anti-Fatigue Technology footbed for all-day shock absorption and energy return. Remaining true to our commitments, their breathable, moisture-wicking linings are made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic. You'll also find protection from below with a Vibram Fire & Ice outsole that is made from a compound that maintains its flexibility in freezing temperatures, plus they're heat-, slip-, oil, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking, and offer enhanced traction in extreme environments. Review: Good - Good Review: Not built for railroad … rocks wear sole down - So I bought these in 2023 August I have not got a year yet and water is entering at the seams. I don’t recommend this boot. Due to my size I have really no choice cause most boots don’t have my size or have steel toe rather then composite. Which makes no sense due to common sense plus experience. Steal toe will cut your feet, and in cold weather will freeze up to the point of frost bite. And to my knowledge extremely heavy. But anyway back to this company of reducing quality. As for the sole you can’t even get it replaced you have to go through so much red tape. Even if you want to pay they stopped refurbishing years ago… cause they didn’t manage the qualifications correctly so they spent money irresponsibly so they cut the program. Shame on timberland. So it’s good from the sole up below that point trash. The bottom is already worn and it’s not a year. And to keep you up on how trash I rarely walk … but when I do it on rocks… so that says a lot about quality.
