You NEED this!
I am in love with this one! The thickness is perfect, very very soft. We keep our house at 64-68, with light pajama bottoms and long sleeve shirt for night time. At nap time I put him in tshirt and diaper in this, because it can get up to 70 during the day in his room. My son loves this blanket. He will fuss when I say night night time all the way till I put him in this and then he relaxes, it's so cute how it helps him relax. My son is 20 months old, weighs approximately 21 lbs and wears the 2t. One of my best baby purchases ever. ALSO, this has helped prevent him from climbing out of his crib! He was starting hurl himself over his ledge of his crib, and this has completely stopped that!

Great quality, nice and warm, excellent construction.
This winter sleep sack is awesome. It keeps my baby warm in temps between 65-70 degrees (it gets a little warm to use above 70 degrees). I dress my baby in a thick kimono-style long-sleeve onesie, sweat pants, and thick socks. As long as the temperature range stays between 65-70 degrees, my baby seems comfortable: when I unzip the sleep sack, her legs feel nice and warm. When the temp falls below 65, her legs start to feel chilly and her exposed hands feel cold. The sleep sack is made well with a thoughtful design. It has a zipper running along the outer seam, instead of down the torso which I appreciate because my baby sleeps on her belly. There are two high quality snaps in the armpit area, one on each side. These are great because they allow you to use a larger sleep sack and let your baby grow into it: just use the armpit snaps when the baby is small, then donโt use them when the baby grows big enough that the neckline of the sleep sack stays below his/her chin. There is also a little fabric flap that covers the top of the zipper so that there is no exposed metal against your baby.Overall, I think this sleep sack is a great deal and I fully recommend it.

Wearable Comforter!
I love this sleep sack! It's so warm and cozy, like a comforter that stays on baby all night. We live in an older house, so indoor climate control varies along with the weather. This is great for colder winter nights. I pair it with either fleece jammies, cotton jammies, or just a long sleeved cotton onesie depending on how much warmth I think she needs that night.Sometimes my daughter indicates she doesn't want to wear it, but I think she's just trying to delay bedtime. :-) Once she is asleep, on the nights she is wearing this one she sleeps much better than nights when I don't dress her as warmly.I like how the shoulders snap on top, for ease in getting it on and off. The zipper is on the side, so there is no issue with it bothering baby's chin or neck. It's symmetrical on front and back, so you can actually put it on backwards if the zipper is easier for you on the other side.My daughter is 16 months, 31 inches tall and 23 pounds. I ordered large, and it fits snugly enough, with plenty of room to grow. There are snaps under the armpits that help keep it snug when the baby is on the smaller end of the range. Although the package states minimum 26 lbs for size large, it works great for my kid with the armpit snaps. Highly recommended!

Comparable to GroBag; needs a stronger zipper
Last winter we had a grobag 2.5 TOG winter weight sack that my son loved. It was super cozy and kept him warm in his drafty room. This year, we needed a larger size sleep sack for the cold season and I found this one. The weight is just like the grobag we had last year. Overall performance, materials, TOG rating etc. is all very comparable. The one difference I have noticed is the zipper is light-duty on this sack. For zipping this thing 1,000 times up/down over 3-4 months with my son wearing it every night, I don't see the zipper holding up......in fact about 1 month into using this for every nap and night, the bottom stitches came out and the zipper did not function correctly. I re-threaded the zipper and sewed the bottom stronger so it won't happen again, but a stronger zipper in construction would make this sleep sack perfect. Overall, I am still very happy with this sleep sack for the value and it is still very comparable to the higher-end UK brand Grobag.

We live in Minnesota and it gets pretty cold in our bedroom
We bought these bags online because for some reason our local stores do not sell winter bags. We live in Minnesota and it gets pretty cold in our bedroom. For those of you just starting your search for baby sleeping bags there is a thermal tog rating scale online that tells you the temperature of the room and the right bags to buy for that temperature. If you are thinking of buying your baby a fleece bag instead...please try wearing fleece pajamas for a few nights yourself first. I tried them and have roasted. Also, the bags are armless on purpose to prevent overheating. There are companies selling bags with arms and if you are like me, then I at first thought the baby needed arms and almost bought them. It freaks me out to know that there are so many products out there being sold for babies that are not actually safe. This is my fourth baby and with so many new "helpful" products out there since my last baby 5 years ago; I have learned that I am having to read and research everything.Last, make sure that you read instructions for washing and drying these bags. I accidentally threw one of the bags in the washer and dryer and it did shrink up. We will not be able to use it now as long as I was hoping.
