I went from an elongated toilet to a round toilet when I moved.I have always hated round toilets because many toilet seats made for them are just too small and basically made for anyone who is not a man.But I did my research and this Kohler had the largest opening size I could find and it works great! I was pleasantly surprised that a round toilet could be almost as comfortable as an elongated toilet thanks to this Kohler seat.I couldn't find another seat that had an opening size as large. I wonder why they don't market this seat as such since I would imagine other folks would be looking for this also.Best round toilet seat I've ever encountered!

We tried ordering this product 4 times:The first one arrived with long scuff marks in the finish along the top of the lid, so we returned itThe second arrived with a line/crack in the toilet seat, so we returned itThe third arrived with 4 strong indents in the toilet seat because of the 4 molding tabs under the seat that the toilet seat sits on, so we returned itThe fourth arrived with a line/crack in the toilet seat, so we returned itThere may have been a fifth attempt, don't remember, but you get the idea lolWe weren't expecting it to be flawless, but we feel it's okay to ask that it not arrive with permanent scuff marks, cracks, and indents. Rarely ever write reviews, but felt compelled to help protect the next guy

I just couldn't wait to write a review for anyone that is considering purchasing this white, round, slow close toilet seat. Particularly if you are searching for a larger hole to pop a squat. I was concerned the seat itself was 18" wide, but it's not. The seat fits a standard round toilet perfectly. BUT THE HOLE / OPENING IS GINORMOUS !!!I mean, wow! I hopped onto all the toilet seats in the house to confirm how my tush sits in/on the toilet seat opening and yes - this one makes you feel like you could possibly fall into it, but you won't. I am rather endowed on the back end, and I felt skinny sitting on this throne. I'm actually a little concerned that my thinning grandpa might fall inside ...But anyone that is looking for a a wider opening for their round toilet - this is the one!

This definitely has more room (larger opening/hole). About 1" extra lengthwise (back to front), and about 3/4" side to side. Makes a big difference, as the opening in traditional round toilet seats is too small. Straightforward assembly. Great find. The seat itself is 5 stars.Had problems with assembly. Comes with a bolt, washer, and a plastic piece for each side. One of the plastic pieces was stripped when arrived, so it is completely useless and just kept falling off/can't stay on. What is very frustrating is that Amazon customer service directs you to Kohler customer service, who acts like they have no idea what's going on and they were also useless. I was trying to request a usable plastic part to replace the stripped one, but due to a complete lack of customer service I wasn't able to. Lucky I was able to use parts from the old toilet seat to attach it.Bottom line: Toilet seat itself is excellent and exactly what I was looking for. However, customer service and defective part are a serious detriment.

This seat works well. Our house has round toilets, rather than ones with enlongated bowls, which i call "coffee cans" for obvious reasons. i hate them! We bought this on the strength of another review, which said that the center hold of the round Kohler model is almost as large as an elongated seat center hole. This is true, in my opinion, and this seat works out well. It has four seat to rim bumpers, rather than two, is durable and easy to clean, and I'm quite satisfied.

I felt like I was stepping down ordering this since it is all plastic and I typically go for wood/acrylic higher end models.. But this exceeded my expectations! It is very comfortable, functions as it should; and well, it may be even more ergonomically designed than its predecessors. I've had it for several months now.

The seat operates as described. The installation pictures are on the box, however they are for seats with the Quick-Release easy cleaning feature which this model does not have. The “Quick-Attach” hardware is no quicker than any other toilet seat. The plastic wing-nuts still have to be held underneath while screwing from above or they will turn with the screws and not give a tight fit. The center hole of the metal washers is too large for these screws, which allows them to slide around during the tightening process.

I bought this to be an easy replacement for a Kohler toilet seat that had broken. It says it has the quick attach hinges in the description and on the box. However when I opened it up, it did not have those features. It had the kind where you had to fully remove two bolts to take it off.Update: Spoke with Kohler about this. Box shows the wrong info. There is also a difference between quick release and fast attach.

This seat was a replacement for my existing see that came with it the toilet. I definitely like this one because of the soft closing feature. Virtually all toilet seats are easy to install. The only complaint I would have about this one is that it does not have the easy snap in option my previous toilet seat

Se ve de muy buena calidad lastima que no coincidieron los barrenos de ensamble, tienen que ser exactos por que no tienen opción de moverlos aunque sea un poco Tip midan la distancia entre los orificios

Had to replace the original Kohler seats on 2 toilets. They were a soft close. The soft close had stopped working after 12 years so these were the replacement. They work great. It was an easy and quick install. They are at least as strong as the seat being replaced. I hope that these last at least another 10+ years.

Amazon description says this comes with perfect fit, even the box says it comes with perfect fit. But the actual hinges of the toilet seat doesn't support any variations hence the toilet seat is like 1 cm shorter on the toilet and it looks horrible. Avoid buying this from Amazon, it is better to get it at a hardware store where you can see what you are actually getting into.
