Fun to use; product mediocre
I had fun with my granddaughter making these soaps. She put them in an attractive dish and gave them to her mom for Valentines Day. Unfortunately, some of the soaps did not gel hard enough and fell apart. Our solution was to make a soap loofah with the netting. The molds were cute but when we tried to make a second soap the mold melted.

Good for kids who like crafting
My god daughter loved the little sushi and ice cream making set I got her for Christmas. While this isn’t edible, I think I’ll make for a great summer crafting project for us.Haven’t made any soap yet since I won’t see the kids until later this month. Pictures to be updated once we’ve succeed with soap making. I don’t expect perfectly molded soaps from a 7 and 11 year old, just based on historical experience with the jelly sushi set, but I think we will have a lot of fun in the process.Product arrived in good condition. Well packaged with a little booklet of instructions. I think this would make a great gift for kids who likes DIY crafting projects.Update 7/28/19: finally got a chance to make these with the kids, we had a blast. Most of the soap jellies turned out pretty well made with the exception of the butterfly and the turtle. My friend had to help her kids with removing the soap from the mold, using a toothpick to dislodge the sides. The butterfly was difficult to remove from the mold and the details did not come out well. We tried making layers of color with the turtle, but it slide apart. Apparently the earlier layers already solidified by the time we added the next layer. So while it looked ok in the picture, it slid apart into 3 slices shortly after coming out of the mold. We poured extra soap liquid into a silicone ice mold and it worked fine as a soap mold too.

Fun craft for sleepover
As kids get older, toys become a thing of the past and it gets harder to find that “cool” gift to give instead of resorting to cash for present. This would make such a cute fun crafty gift. However, we did craft with a friend that came over and the girls had a blast. We picked the easier one (basic soap jelly) with less steps to do and I think that’s why ours turned out good. Then the friend was able to leave with a cute souvenir to take home.If you find my review helpful, please select the helpful button below. Thanks!

Too squishy
Super slimy, more like jelly and not really like soap. They dry up in 24 hours so you cant make them and use them over time.

Awful
They just don't work. Without realizing it, we have used this same kit twice, and it just doesn't work. The jellies (if they come out at all) are a gooey mess. They look even worse the next day and just start dissolving. Followed the directions exactly and all we have is a mess. The other kit by the same brand (just soaps, not jellies) worked better.

great for a snow day
This is a fun, fairly easy and useful kit. It comes with easy to follow directions, 6 different molds and 3 bath poufs. You can add color and glitter to really make it your own soap. I did it with a 9 y.o. girl and she had a lot of fun doing it.
