Shoe MGKMGK Complete Kit: Shoe Cleaner, Care, Water & Stain Protection - Revitalize, Shield, and Freshen Sneakers, Leather, and Dress Shoes With Deodorizer

Disclaimer:This is my second time doing the exact same thing with this cleaner system. I have used several different cleaners for my boots and never felt the need to review any of them because none truly wow'd me. I do this review because of how impressed with this product I am.About me and my boots:I work as a supervisor for a place that sells lumber, concrete blocks, and bagged concrete dust. The pictures are of the boots I wear to work (Black = opening/Brown = Closing) I used a container with hot water (also pictured) to rinse the brush inbetween scrubbing with the brush included with the kit. After scrubbing I used a rag dipped in the same water to wipe each boot clean, and then a separate dry cloth to dry them off. The pictures of the boots are from 2 weeks of work from the previous time they were cleaned. The clean boots in the picture have not been sprayed with the waterproofer that is included. I did spray them with it after, but they needed dry time afterwards before they go back to normal.Honest review:Amazing. At first I was sceptical because of the viscosity of the product. I am under the impression they made it like this so it would flow through the bristles of the brush quickly. The stuff works great and goes far. You truly do not need much. The cleaner itself is worth the money in my opinion. The deodorizer isn't the worst but not the best. It smells like almost nothing, but it brings out the new shoe smell. If you sweat and work hard, it's a worthwhile product as well. The waterproofer works unless (like me) the shoes in question end up covered in concrete every day. I feel as if it serves no purpose whatsoever for my boots. However, when I put this stuff on my shoes, paint wouldn't stick. Just water alone got paint off of them, so it works for sure if used correctly. All in all, definitely a 5 star product and when you factor in price it's a sealed deal. My only issue is that I cannot buy a large bottle of just the cleaner alone. I don't need a new brush every time I buy cleaner.

This was a great deal for the price I paid. My husband loves this stuff. The functionality of this product is easy and the shoes always come out really clean. He never has any issues with leakage and again the shoes always match the shoe color.

Great set if you’re not trying to clean up the dirtiest shoes. Easy to use and the results are really good. Smells clean when you’re done, comes with a water proofer and freshener… one of my kids let his shoes go and this wasn’t enough to get them clean which was a shame but once you use this you’ll understand how dirty you can let your shoes go before this set won’t clean them.

Really good shoe cleaner. We have been using this shoe cleaner brand for a few years now. I do think the bottles could be a bit bigger. However great price for a great product. Definitely worth it.

So i ordered this kit, though a bit reluctantly after reading some of the more negative reviews on here about this possibily being old stock or having QC issues from people talking about the kit either coming in leaking, or leaking protectant spray bottle when going to use the kit (which i know could be an idsue in shipping or handling causing damage) but the color staining is what i was more concerned with. However i used the kit on an old pair of shoes that were nasty and it did excellent and didn't seem to be causing color issues after a few hours, so i decided to use it on my work and casual shoes. After doing so and following on bottle instructions for the kit my shoes look great and the refresher (green labeled bottle) seems to work well at freshening up insoles. They include a large amount of cleaner, but i wish offered an option with say 1 cleaner, 2 protection spray and a refreshing spray bottle or 2 of each of the cleaner and protection spray. However i did do 8 total pairs of shoes and bately needed any of the cleaner, they do note on the protection spray not to soak shoes, spray back and forth and cover entire shoe then allow 24 hours for full dry (mine dried after only a few hours. But i think they want you to give it time to bond to the shoe and create a protective barrier) they do also note to check for colorfastness. After using this kit on 8 pairs of shoes and it working so well I'm convinced the negative reviews here either did get a bad batch, or were not aware of what the protection spray said on not oversoaking. But i wouldn't let these negative reviews dissuade you from trying this kit. It works so well I'm gping to likely order up on a couple more for future use and emergency cleanings.

Admittedly I was skeptical about this product because I have tried others in the past. I used to use the Pink Stuff which is good but a lot more elbow grease and time. The MGK with its brush and formula works incredibly well and better than any others I have tried. Now I am not afraid to get my sneakers dirty! Definitely recommend getting this combo pack as I am sure the rest of the formula are good.

The last time I used this was about five years ago, it’s really good to come back and see that the product is still pretty solid. The brush is a little softer than I remembered but it still got the job done - However, I do wish they had more options but that’s also something I can just get on the side. The packaging is better than the old blue boxes they had, everything came as advertised and they apparently offer guides on how to use this now; Spoiler alert, less is more. Anyway, good product, will continue to use as long as the quality doesn’t drop.
