I was hesitant to buy due to the high cost, but am glad I bought it. I also bought another stainless container for comparison purposes- the New Wave Enviro Stainless Steel Food Container, for half the cost. I will review it separately. I cannot comment on how long they will last but can say I am really happy with the Solo cube. The edges are curled on the lid and the container, giving it strength and making it really easy to grip to open. It closes easily and snugly, and it fits a sandwich or bagel perfectly- even the jumbo bagels from Costco. My high schooler loves it because it protects her sandwiches from getting smashed in her backpack, and saves a baggie from being used up daily.The comparison to the cheaper New Wave Enviro Stainless Steel Food Container is hard to gauge, because my other high schooler loves that one despite its slightly larger dimensions and the edges are not curled under, and it is held closed with attached clips. Only time will tell how they hod up, and I will update my reviews over time.

Good product- glad it's stainless steel but cover could be hard to open for toddlers. It's not the easiest even for me to open but I guess that's good so food won't spill. Great for sandwiches and live that it is NOT plastic! :)

I have a little man who is in Kindergarten and I bought this lunch for him, which is just the right size. It is easy to clean up, easy for him to open, and durable. Worth the buy!

No more plastic ruining the taste of my sandwiches and killing me slowing with poison...these stainless steal sandwich boxes will hold regular bread with actual grain in it, as opposed to the plastic versions designed to hold fake wonder bread.they also withstand the slam of the ski lift into your pack so your sandwich is full and fresh and distinguishable at lunch time.

This box is too heavy and too deep for regular kids sandwiches. It does not fit in a lunch box and does not stay shut.

I bought this for my son's lunchbox, because I'm trying to eliminate as much plastic as possible from our lives. But the top never fit well on the bottom--it was too tight. He often couldn't open it himself. Today, neither my husband or I could get the top off to wash it, so we had to throw it in the trash. We've had better luck with another brand's stainless steel sandwich box, so I just ordered a couple more of the rival brand. This one was sturdy enough, but just didn't function.

I bought these for my kids to use as a lunch box as I was concerned about using plastic containers. Unfortunately they were impossible for my 6 and 8 year old to open. Kept them though in hopes of using them when they are older.

I use this for my sons pbj. It's big enough to fit a full size sandwich. The sandwich seems to stay together well. I can toss it in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.
