Beautiful wine glasses — the glass is thin, delicate, and very elegant. Unfortunately, one glass was broken during transportation, but the seller was extremely helpful and replaced it quickly with no issues at all. Very happy with the product and the experience. Highly recommend.

These are a STEAL for how beautiful they are. Truly crafted well, which isn’t to say that they are super sturdy. They are extremely delicate, and there is a particular charm about that. So, yes, they will break if you knock them about carelessly. But these aren’t meant to be durable. They are meant to be graceful. UPDATE AFTER ONE MONTH: The more I use these, the more I love them. The size is PERFECT. For comparison, I also purchased two other kinds of red wine glasses from Stötzle (“Grand Cuvée” and “Revolution”), and they were fine. But these ones diffused the most intense aroma by far! They are slightly smaller in terms of capacity than the Stötzle glasses, but I don’t mind since it clearly makes the wine drinking experience more sensorily enjoyable. I might add that very bulbous red wine glasses look a bit...pretentious, not to mention oddly proportioned (top-heavy?). So, even though these felt so thin and delicate, I decided to keep these and return the Stötzles. And you know what? They are deceptively sturdy. Despite the fact that they feel so lightweight in hand, and everything about them is so gracefully thin, THEY SURVIVE A LOT. I have had numerous instances where I was SURE that a bump or knock would have AT LEAST cracked one. But no. Flawless strength. Of course, they are glass, so you can’t drive a Land Rover on it, or hit it with a hammer and expect the hammer to just bounce back without breaking it. BUT, I am now a believer in the merits of titanium crystal glass - it really is a different kind of glass. You know how your sodium borosilicate French press is surprisingly sturdy for how thin it is? This is like that, only stronger! Which I say is deceptive, since it has almost as much clarity and brilliance as lead crystal, and we all know how absurdly fragile that stuff is. I have nothing but compliments to extol the merits of this glass. Beautiful, artfully crafted, makes wine smell better, comes exceptionally well packaged, delicate-feeling and shockingly strong. AND IT IS ECONOMICAL!! Buy them. UPDATE 2: After dinner, on Mother’s Day, I was washing dishes when I accidentally knocked one over onto my granite countertop. It was empty, and all who were present saw the cup part bounce against the countertop about three times. On the last bounce, it bumped against the one next to it, which also proceeded to tip over, only to bounce a few times. Neither of them broke! Miracle? Only the miracle of science.

Beautiful set. Not cheap, but wonderful in your hand. So thin and delicate with a wonderful sound. We hand wash ours (no dishwasher), and have broken several, so be careful with them. Not for kids (

These were lovely wine glasses, but we broke one while washing them the 1st time. We contacted the JBHO company and they sent us 4 more glasses to replace the broken one. No hassle and they were extremely quick to respond.

These are beautiful glasses. I took one star away because I was looking for a wider rim. The description showed 3.5 inches but it is really 2.5. I think their measurements were the width of the center part not the top even though the measurement shoes across the top. I also like that if broke they will replace so that is a plus as they do feel delicate.

I just got these glasses in the “Bordeaux” style today. First of all, DONT let the haters keep you from purchasing them. Mine did NOT come broken in the packaging (not like that would even be the sellers fault?!), and I have not seen any of the “impurities” or “bubbles” that other reviewers talk about. Even if I had, I would probably still love these! Sure, I guess the clarity could be a little better, the rim a little thinner, and the stem a little longer. But HELLO!! these are NOT designer expensive glassware. These are by far the best “generic” wine glasses I have ever seen and I’ve been searching for 6 months. in fact, I like them more than my expensive crystal because of the look and light weight, thin glass quality. 5 stars for overall look, shape, rim thinness, weight (or lack thereof), and stem thinness. As I just got them today, I cannot vouch for durability and wear. However, they are very light and thin so I will be ultra careful with these babies! Can’t wait to purchase the set in “burgundy” style.

They look great but they’re so thin that they break at the slightest mishap. One broke within a week of getting them and another a couple of weeks after that so I’m down to 2.

LOL, they hold my wine just perfectly. They are mouth blown so some imperfections in the glass exist. Lovely to look at, super thin walls, soaring skinny stems. Wonderful! 10/10 recommended

2 glasses were thin and well made, 2 were thick with uneven bases so the glasses rock. Returned.

As soon as I picked up the box, I could hear the glass all broken inside. Thank god I heard the broken glass inside and didn’t open the box quickly or there would have been glass everywhere!
