I use these for working on electronics, and so far these are the best tweezers I've used so far. They're sharp enough and even enough to pick up tiny capacitors without accidentally flinging them off into oblivion. They also lasted longer without bending than other tweezers around the same price and cheaper. Although they have started to bend. After reading other comments about them being uneven and bending even I decided to try buying from the hakko usa store directly to see if there's a difference in quality. I just ordered, so I haven't received them yet, but I did notice, if you're only buying one, the price is about the same, but if you buy more than one pair of tweezers, it's actually cheaper to buy from Hakko USA directly. These tweezers are only around $6, and shipping is around $6, even if you buy more than one. I got one of these, and another different tweezer for about $17, two pairs of these here is $26

You could use this to deal with ingrown hair and things like that but I used it to repair old, broken Sony Walkmen. The ends of the tweezers are very small and pointy which was great for fitting into the screw holes of the volume knob on an old Sony wm-2 from 1981. I was also able to get these really thin, small tweezers into tight spaces in electronics and pick up tiny screws. It was super valuable in stretching and installing a belt on a Walkman that was hard to get into because of how tight everything was packed together. Definitely recommend this. Very durable and well made.

Outstanding set of tweezers, very durable and useful for precise work with electronics. They come with a little rubber tip to cover the end of the tweezers and I really appreciated that since they are quite sharp. I wouldn't recommend these if you're looking for tweezers to work with things like ribbon cables as they might puncture them if you apply too much force, but for moving around metal coverings and retrieving loose screws in phones they work great.

I checked the dimension of my Hakko 3-SA. Length: 115mm (should be 120mm). Width: 9.6mm (should be 10mm). Tip thickness: 0.3mm (correct size). Dimensions as per Hakko website. If Hakko is cutting back on material and the size of their products, they must advertise correctly by US law if sold in the US. I am likely not to return them since they are sufficient for my needs, yet I can't help being a bit disappointed with my first pair of "precision" tweezers. This will influence further purchases. As far as "speed" of delivery, my order arrived at the carrier (USPS) on Dec. 30 '21. After several weeks, Amazon informed me my order was likely lost and I could request a refund, but I waited. My order arrived Jan. 25 '22. I don't believe Amazon or the 3rd party vendor are at fault for my order taking the scenic route, so you may draw your own conclusions.

Very sharp and pretty strong. Work great for repairs, worked pretty good for board level repairs, and also work pretty good as tweezers for your face/skin because of how precise they are

These are very high precision, fine point tweezers. They have a great balance between flexibility, strength, and a fine point. They are precision ground at the tips, but are fairly delicate and somewhat fragile. Being a precision instrument, you have to take care in their use, so as not to abuse them on tasks not properly suited. They have sufficient strength for small to medium sized components, and if you're working under a microscope, these are the tweezers to have. I will definitely purchase these in the future as needed. Slightly expensive, but good stuff usually is. I buy two at a time, take care of them and they should last.
