Extreme Max 5001.5028 Heavy-Duty Snowmobile/ATV Tow Strap

I wanted something USA made and these are. They are also a smaller package which is good for storing purposes in my snowmobile bag compared to the tow rope I had that was meant for towing a car or pick up out of a ditch. Stitching was heavy duty cross stitching like seen on ratchet straps that hold 1000 lbs D-rings. I have to say, I hope I never have to use them. Because if I do, means I broke down some where miles into the wilderness and it may be hours before I come to a road crossing. :-)

Haven't used it, but it's durable and feels well made. I feel comfortable using it if I ever need a tow or need to tow someone out of the woods.

Finally had a chance to use this tow strap. Luckily it wasn't my sled that broke down. I had to tow my friend's heavy yamaha snowmobile about 20 miles to the trail head. It was a miserable experience but the tow strap worked amazing. Super easy to connect and disconnect. At one point we had to cross a water hole, which put a huge strain on the tow rope, but it held up great. By connecting it to the spindles or ski-hooks you do a better job of pulling the sled up and over whatever obstacles you encounter. Also, I've had it sitting in my tank bag for 3 years and there's no sign of rust, even though it gets very wet back there. I highly recommend it.

Would have 5 stars if there were clips on the tow strap as well. Have used it many times this season with snowmobile and side by side and it works great!

This was a life saver. Had a snowmobile break the steering stem 10 miles back in. Got us back to the truck. Must have for snowmobile

Didn't take long to figure out how to use it when my snowmobile was immobile. Towed perfectly and held up. Clever, easy design.

I I haven't used it yet other than to do a mock up. Looks to be good quality and length is perfect. My friends have also bought and used this product works as advertised. So for that reason I highly recommend this product. It fits perfectly in my storage bag on my xcr 850.

Great for towing a snowmobile by the spindles to rear bumper of another sled.

Unfortunately I had to try these out this winter...and they worked like a charm! They're good quality and very easy to use.

I purchased this product and when it arrived the spindle strap had no “D” rings, obviously hard to use it! Rather than return it to Amazon, I called Extreme Max’ Customer Service, using the number provided with the product. I explained the situation and they asked if I could forward them a picture, which I did, 3 days later a package arrived replacing the complete product. Many thanks to James H of Extreme Max, it is nice to see outstanding customer service is alive and well. I haven’t used the strap to tow yet, and I hope I never have to, but it does look like it is well made.

They work as they are meant to be. Nice to have them when you are in the bush or on the trail. Have used them to tow other machines.

A must for snowmobiling in groups. Towed many friends out of the bush who had mechanical failures on their snowmobiles.
