I tried to use my newer iphone on an older stereo and it didn’t work. Could not communicate. Was worth a shot but the technology just wasn’t compatible. I don’t blame the cables.

I bought it specifically for the ihome i've had for a long time. It wouldn't work no matter how much I tried. I lend the other adapter to a friend who said she was able to charge her phone but music wouldn't play. I'm glad it was only $10 but it's still a waste of money.

So frustrating, do they not even test these items before they ship them !!! I have original Apple adapter worked great .. tested the connection to confirm it was the actual new cords !! And it was !! They don’t work

I bought this specifically to sync with my older model iHome speakers, it worked to charge my iPhone X, but it wouldn’t sync, and it wouldn’t play the music through the speaker.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Very soon after I got the 2 cords, one of them failed. "Oh well," I thought, "i only need one so I'll just use the other cord." I should have returned the cords, but instead used the second cord, which worked for a couple of months just fine, then worked intermittently, and now doesn't work at all.

Bought this to play my iPhone SE on my Bose system with it's 32 pin iPod dock. No connection. Tried it on my JBL with iPod dock... no connection. Neither of the two worked.

Unfortunately, the one received didn’t work. They did atleast do returns so we were able to get our money back.
