Beautiful dress don't forget the accessories!
This dress is absolutely perfect for a tween!!! I loved the suggestion of pairing. With a leather jacket and bought the black faux leather jacket with ruffle from urban republic (on amazon) and the booties from Marco republic "galaxy" for girls. My daughter wore this to the winter dress and it was so cute!! She is in between a 12 and 14, I ordered the 14 and it was too big....it was about )20 for alterations....after shopping all week at the local malls for a dress it took me 15min and about $60 less on amazon!!! Such a cute outfit for a little girl who deserves nothing less.

So cute, I keep coming back to buy more!
I have purchased this skater dress in many different prints for my daughter (Nordstrom and eventually Amazon when I couldn't get it from Nordy's). This review is for all of the dresses I have bought on Amazon... I purchased both the Hannah Banana brand and their sub-brand, Truly Me from Amazon. I bought the same style in a light blue party-themed dress for my daughter's 7 year-old friend... who loved it! My experience with these skater dresses: they are especially great dresses for 5-8 years olds. I think the material, pattern and style are very age-appropriate. Some prints are a little flashy, but there are / were many prints to choose from. Happy dress hunting!

NO Sequins - just printed fabric
Very disappointed. We bought the “fantasy gold” dress expecting the designs on the dress to be in sequins. They are NOT. There are some rhinestones glued on top of the screen printed design. It is screen printed to look like sequins. There are not any sequins. We were looking for a WOW dress for a girl who loves horses. It’s only an okay dress. If I had paid less I would be fine, but for the price I expected lots of sequins or rhinestones. It does having a nice skirt that twirls and the fabric is comfortable.

Great fit, fabric, and price!
Bought the black multi in an 8 for my tall, thin seven year old and the black floral in a 14 for my curvier 11 year old for an evening, family wedding. I had been eyeing these dresses for a few months and am so happy I purchased them. They are both adorable and fits the girls perfectly. The fabric is soft, so no worries about your daughter refusing to wear it because of itching like with so many dresses in this price point. This dress is an amazing deal.

Pictures are a little deceptive
The pictures make it look like the animals on the dress are all made of sequins or glitter. There are a few sequins on the dress, but the animals and things are just printed on in a pixelated way to look shimmery in a photo. The dress fabric is nice and the sewing seems pretty good as well. Just really disappointed that the pattern isn't what it appeared in the photos. My daughter however loves it as she loves all things horse and and most clothes she sees are unicorn rather than horses.

Beautiful Dress (Fantasy Gold)
Beautiful dress. I was a little skeptical after reading reviews stating that the material was just screen printed and there weren’t any sequins/beads on the dress. However, I am happy to report that the dress I received was sparkly and very pretty with beading and sequins on it. My daughter loves it and I’m glad I purchased it for her.

Darling but short
Absolutely love this dress and the material is nice- the problem is that it is way too short! My daughter normally wears an 8/10 1 ordered a 10 and 12 as I needed for an event an was not sure what size would work- the 10 fit good everywhere but was super short- 12 was also super short. My daughter is 52 inches tall and 70 pounds for reference- had to return both.

Chicco boutique were amazing to deal with. My niece was searching for a special dress to wear to her first concert (Taylor swift - her favourite) later in the year and she found the perfect one through Chicco Boutique on Amazon, and she was gutted to find it didn’t ship to New Zealand. I emailed Chicco Boutique and within a couple of days they had changed it to ship to nz. The dress arrived earlier than expected and it’s perfect! I gave it to her last night and she absolutely loves it - tried it on straight away and danced around the room showing everybody, it is perfect. Thank you so much from a very happy girl all the way in New Zealand. 😀
