Revised review, from 4 stars to 1. Latest filter ordered was not constructed as pictured on Amazon. See attached photo taken during my oil change. The purchased "new" filter is in the center. The filter just removed from my truck is on right. A random filter I have had in my garage for 10 years (not K&N) is on left. The "new" filter is corroded. While I have had it in my Florida garage for a few months, the filter on left has been in the same garage for 10 years, so I'm not giving a pass on the corrosion. Also look closely at the center "new" filter as compared to the one on the right just removed from my truck. Different and less substantial construction. There is also what looks like adhesive slopped around inside the new filter. Both are K&N PS-1007 filters. The "new" filter is not going on my truck. It looks worse than the used one.Previous review:Have used K&N filters exclusively on my vehicles for over a decade, always the type with the one inch nut. Giving these a try figuring that the nut isn't worth a doubling of price presuming the inner construction is the same. Truck is still purring past a quarter million miles.

Made my oil pressure stay under middle line wen pressing on gas on 2004 escalade till gt warm then needle would go past middle. Still had oil life left from synthetic oil. Changed oil last night with different oil filter and pressure stayed lil below middle till I pressed on gas on cold engine and pressure went up. No more knocking on cold

usually use the wrench on K&n filters (gold)but now trying to save a few bucks and bought the silver filter for half the price,seems to be working the same.

After much research settled on this filter because it had the best specs and the price was right. Use them on my 2004 Corvette Z06. Great quality.

I put this filter on my truck and it would not stay tight. Kept backing off and leaking oil.

Oil pressure is strong so the flow is very good.

I used this on my 03 GMC Yukon with the 4.8 engine and man this is the best filter ever. My car has close to 200k miles and these filters do an amazing job would highly recommend

K&N's are great. While there FIPK kits can be hit or miss and sometimes ridiculously priced, 99% of us out there need nothing more than the regular panel replacement, which works great. To top it off, I got this one for a steal! What a great price...
