Helpful, but not perfect. Purchased to help keep an elderly parent from picking at a surgical site on their abdomen over night when I couldn't be supervising as full time caregiver in my home. They were somewhat helpful and were comfortable, but in order for them to work 100%, I would have needed to tie them so close to the bedrails that I thought it was cruel ....not being able to touch their face, if they needed to scratch an itch. so being that I left some slack in the ties, these were able to be removed with time and did not work as well as I had hoped. I suppose if you don't have a choice and really need to keep hands off ( I ended up having them go inpatient until the site was healed and they just ended up using medication as the 'restraint') so I guess, pick your restraint; tie these close and tight so it keeps them safe or deal with the probability that if you are kind enough to give them some wiggle room, they will get them off! Nice quality, launders well. Roomy enough that you can place small soft objects in the mitten for anxious hands to 'work with'. I used small stuffed rounded animals or fabric toy balls from the dollar store and also small craft pom poms which both worked well to keep hands busy when I was supervising. These mittens do not have 'glove like groves" for each finger, the whole area is open for the whole hand

These were perfect for my mom who has a feeding tube that she pulled out one night. The mittens are light weight, vented to keep hands from sweating, the strips for tightning at the wrist but not painful. I searched medical supply sights for this type of product, they cost 3 times what these were.

This product didn't work for my situation. The wearer can easily turn hand around and was able to scratch with the mesh side causing skin damage.

Better closure but it works fairly well

It's okay. We don't use it. It's there in case we need it. Alzheimer's doesn't get "better". Hope we don't need to use it. Ever.

The bottom of glove is a little too thick so it's hot on hands.

Excellent value. I researched this product online and the price and shipping was astronomical. So glad to have found this here on Amazon

Work great for keeping fingers out of our mouth and cool.
