Q: If wired in to a normal on/off switch, would this work with Philips Hue bulbs?

The light fitting will take on any buld with the correct fitting. How you control the Hue bulb is between the bulb and the control or way of control that came with the bulb, it have nothing to do with what fitting you use. Hope this help.
