This bag ticks all the boxes for me, a perfect town backpack. I've gone back to backpacks after several years of across-body bags, because they are so much more comfortable with the weight more evenly distributed. Mine is a lovely rich burgundy that goes with so many colours, in soft leather that seems to be very good quality. It's neat and smart, well made, with enough detail in the curved pocket zip to make it interesting - I don't like too many zips and tassels and fiddly bits! It lies flat against your back, so doesn't bulge out like tie- top backpacks do. It's big enough to hold an A4 sized pad, folding brolly, bottle of water, a paperback and the usual handbag paraphernalia. I especially like the zipped pocket in the back for keeping purse and phone safe. Very pleased with it.

I am really pleased with this purchase. It is a perfect size for everything I need, including my water bottle. It is lovely soft leather and still keeps its shape. It is exactly as described, has pockets inside and a zipped security pocket at the back. I looked at lots of bags in stores and online and am very pleased with my final choice.

I never have written a review before, just received my back pack today. It is beautiful!Fantastic size, leather is really soft with fantastic quality. Navy is really hard to find as I don’t like brass zips on handbags the silver on this is gorgeous and so expensive looking. Would definitely recommend!

After much searching found this great bag. Bought for a trip away and was exactly what I was looking for. Leather is lovely and soft. I liked the fact this had a pocket on the back which goes flat into your back which meant not as easy access for any unsavoury hands. I put my money or purse in this pocket. Great looking bag. Great buy .....

Beautifully soft leather. Exactly what I wanted. Lots of room and a perfect size to fit in your lunch and a bottle of water! I would highly recommend it.

I bought in May 2019 and I use it most days. The straps, though thin, are surprisingly comfortable when I use in backpack mode. The leather IS a bit large-grained - so this is not a bag for a posh night out when they show up again - but it has worn well and looks sharp. The stitching hasn't frayed and the interior lining hasn't worn out. I can put a lot of stuff into it (e.g. library books, purse, collapsible umbrella, etc) and it stands up to it. I also like the little zipped pocket in the back should you want to keep something (smallish) secure.

Disappointed when this bag arrived. Didn't have any class or style about it and the leather looked fake. Bigger than my old well loved Visconti backpack but didn't feel the "lurv" or any excitement about it. I guess it does what it says but I wanted more! Should have realised with its price that it wasn't going to be sensational!

I treated myself to this bag and I know it will last me forever. It is very well made and looks gorgeous. Lots of useful pockets including a secure back zip pocket
