Not wet on wet friendly
I mainly use Windsor Newton oil paints because they are firm paints that work great for the wet on wet technique. But for some reason, they don’t offer this color. I had tried the Bob Ross Indian Yellow(another color WN doesn’t offer) and was happy with its consistency, so I thought I’d give this color a try...It’s the right color, but very oily & thin. I may have to set this color out on cardboard instead of my pallet before using it to soak up the surplus of oil in it. So basically the Bob Ross brand paints are now “hit or miss”

Too oily and soft for the Bob Ross technique
The paints ate vibrant and highly pigmented. However, they are consistently soft, very oily, when that is not the paint consistency described for the painting style taught by Bob Ross.

Beyond Horrible!
If I could give any and all of Bob Ross Paints a minus zero, I would do that...they leak some type of oil substance, they do not have any thickness to them, and they are not inexpensive. I have had to clean up the last mess made from these paints on my pallet...never again. I would rather never, ever paint again, if I had to use Bob Ross paints!!! As I stated, "Beyond Horrible!"

This Paint Is Too Runny To Use
Bob Ross style paints need to be thick in order for the wet on wet technique to work well. This paint was too runny to use. I inspected all my Bob Ross paints and the Bob Ross licensed paints made in the US were good. The Bob Ross licensed manufacturer in the UK (like this one) were too runny to use. Even though it's licensed and distributed by the Bob Ross company the quality is very different depending on where they are made. Don't by UK made paint, but you can buy from the manufacturer in Berlin, NY.
