RolliCool Alexa-Enabled Portable Air Conditioner 10,000 BTU AC Unit with Heater, Dehumidifier, Fan, Mobile App (COOL208-19)

So our AC unit in the house broke and is too damn expensive to replace at the moment. Therefore, our temporary solution is to place portable AC units throughout the house. We have an LG unit in the living room that's a larger BTU for the large space, but it's size is wide and we needed something smaller for the bedroom. I chose the Rollibot 10000 BTU because of its size, appearance and ratings. The size is compact enough to place in a corner and doesn't take up too much space. It's got a sleek, clean design and easy to use. It's got a little bit of weight to it, but it's not like I'll be moving it around the house. Most of the reviews complained about the bluetooth capability, but I bought this knowing I would not be using it since it comes with a remote and its staying in the bedroom. The Rollibot is also quieter than the LG; low enough for white noise for sleeping. We've had it for a couple weeks now and it's working great! It keeps the room frigid, almost too cold. We've had to bump the temperature from 68 to 72 and on low fan. We are not using the dehumidifier so we haven't dealt with having to drain it. I have had to throw a washcloth over the menu because the light is bright at night and I like it completely dark when sleeping. Overall, this was a great purchase and recommend it. I'm going to purchase a second one to place in our office and because the price has decreased.

I don't normally leave reviews but this air conditioner is just not user friendly and doesn't work very well. First, the attachment to the window is cheap and doesn't block out hot air from seeping into the room. They also gave a screw that was supposed to help keep the tube in place but the screw wasn't the right size and did absolutely nothing. Second, I don't think the sleep mode works as when I pressed it there was no noticeable differences in sound. Third, the app absolutely sucks. I got it to connect initially, but then whenever I was connected to wifi it kept saying the water was full when it wasn't. I reinstalled the app and also tried deleting all my information on the app and putting it back in to no avail. When I connected to bluetooth it worked fin but the whole point of the app is to turn on the unit from anywhere so it failed in doing that. Fourth, draining the water from the dehumidifier was such a pain. The air conditioner is very heavy so every time the water filled up I had to detach it from the window, roll it down the hall to the bathroom and lift it into the tub to drain it. Fifth, when I had it on water would condense on the unit and eventually drip onto my floor. Plus there were times when I had the unit on for hours and it still felt hot in my bedroom (which is a small city bedroom). Overall, this air conditioner is not worth the hassle and you're better off buying another portable air conditioning unit. Also I received a black filter with the order that had no explanation for what I was supposed to do with it. Just don't buy this, it has caused me so much unneeded stress and I am so much happier now that it's returned and out of my life.

This portable air conditioner is used in my massage therapy business. I have four small rooms and clients like it cool and quiet. It is a cool, quiet, and takes up very little room. I appreciate the air conditioner is mobile and can be moved from one room to room easily.I primarily need the cooling capability for individual rooms and dehumidification capability comes in handy on those muggy summer days. The unit has done a good job making the shop comfortable enough to work in. It only takes a short time to cool the air down of massage rooms. The cooling effect is quiet enough not to bother our clientsThe air conditioner looks nice and the control panel at the top is easy to operate. I only need the controller and have not tried connecting to Alex yet. Since it used only in my shop, I do not need the Alexa capability yet.

Unit showed up a few days prior to anticipated date which was a plus in this 90 degree temperature. We are using this unit to cool the space above our garage that I refinished for an additional bedroom. Although we tied in the HVAC, it just doesn't get good flow to this space so it is very hot during the summer. Unit was easy to set up and I only have 2 comments that I will make. 1) The window vent / slide had to be cut down to facilitate our smaller window which in the big picture was not that big of a deal and 2) the flexible plastic vent hose feels very cheap. Works fine but first impression was cheap. The unit itself is great - easy to set up and cooled this room (approx 300 sqft) down in no time. My daughter loves it and is sleeping much better. If it's still working a year from now then I will love it to!

It’s good at cooling when the weather isn’t bringing much to the battle. 90+ heatwaves aren’t it’s forte so far, even with hours of operation and covered windows.The exhaust hose it came with had several splits in it and I actually found it difficult to assemble and fit into the window and the back of the unit, but then again I live in an older building with deep window sills that I’m not sure the window kit was designed for. Would have been nice to have more detailed instructions for dummies like me.It is loud, but I like it because it drowns out my noisy upstairs neighbor.Lastly, I’m having a good experience with the app so far. I like that I can turn it on/off even if I’m at work to either cool the place off for my kitten or when I’m about to go home.

this has been a life saver! Our apartment doesnt get very cool in the summer so it felt like a waste to have it on full blast but still sit in 80+ degree living room. this ac unit was a perfect solution. It kept us cool and was easy to set up. Once we set it up we didnt move it because we only had one location where it really worked to leave the exhaust tube. Im looking forward to seeing how the heating function works this winter. Was a little loud, but also easy to get used to. Didnt cool the whole apartment, just the room it was in.
