I recently had an eye checkup as I noticed I was struggling to read my phone (I had started doing the thing we all do when age catches up on us!). Eyes were fine, I just needed ready glasses to help me. At the opticians these were going to be >£100 for nice frames and the lenses. So I gave it some thought and came away with my prescription. Having found these, I thought I’d give them a try. Well, I’m over the moon, four pairs for a fraction of the price I would’ve paid. Now I can dot them around the place (including a pair in the car). It also doesn’t matter if a pair gets a bit damaged, I don’t need to worry. They fit well, I;ve got a wider face so I checked the measurements of these and they’re perfect. Very comfortable, weight it fine, and easy to slip on and off due to the hinges having good ‘give’. Overall good quality, a great buy considering everything, I would definitely recommend these.

Having bought many readers over the years I was really pleased with this purchase. The specs are good quality, with sprung arms a real bonus for reducing pressure on the side of the head. They come with a nice case to help keep them clean and damage free.

Perfect… they break eventually but I use them all the time and have bought 8 pairs in last 2 years…still got 4 in good condition … way cheaper than overpriced opticians - yes I do understand what benefits options offer but they seem to have gone the same way as vets and some restaurants… overpriced

Using a diopter chart from a uk online opticians, I worked out 2.25 looked like my best choice and got these. They do the job and you get several pairs of this hard to find strength. Some older customers might prefer this more retro design, which is fair enough, but note the lens quality is merely adequate. As you move your head a little distortion is evident. The X Nourney 3 pack of 2.25’s from Amazon is a vastly better choice: pin sharp lens all round plus a more modern look. I won’t be coming back to these!
