Tough 1 Nylon Padded Miniature Halter

Beautifully made halter... comes with a little removable hand strap... fits wonderfully well! Based on other people's reviews, I took a chance and ordered a "medium"... I had been using "weanling" horse halters... definitely not made to fit a mini... at all... This mini halter fits the way a correct sized halter fits a horse... all the dimensions are there to fit a mini... my mini is 35 inches at the withers... and weighs about 300 pounds. I think that a large would have been too big for him... with the medium I still have room to adjust it a little smaller or a little larger... I love the padded nose band and bridle path... it fits like a glove and is very comfortable for him... in my first photo he is tied and he has his head tight against the halter, but the Christmas photo shows that there is a comfortable looseness and room for adjustments. The color is a beautiful blue that looks sharp on Hobbit... I think any of the colors would have looked good on him! I will definitely buy more of these well-made halters! And you can't beat the price! Thank you!

Quality halter that really fits my miniature horses! I ordered a small for both of my girls even though they have slightly different head shapes. The padding is a great touch and I really love the clip so I can easily slide the halter on or off.

This halter is for a miniature horse, OR regular sized foal, NOT a miniature foal halter.I own miniature horses, and purchased for a miniature foal. It is way, way too big for a mini foal, so I am using it on my miniature stallion because it is good quality. I would not ever use a cheap/flimsy halter on my horses, because of the potential to put them in harms way.Although the description can be (unless they have changed it) misinterpreted I am still giving the product itself 5 stars. After all even if my foal was my only mini he would grow into it eventually, and it is a nice halter at a really nice price.Would, and may order again!

I ordered two of these, one small and one medium. To be honest, I was very happy initially! They both seemed very well made, I loved the price and how adjustable they are.But I've had them for less than ten days, and the medium one already is broken. It was on a miniature mare, who only wore it for daily turnout. She was not even turned out every day, due to weather.But today I went out and she had broken the clip. She's not feisty or rambunctious, and she's had much older, flimsy, cheap halters on before with no problem. I found it by a post, so I can only assume she was scratching her face against it and it snapped. It was not too tight or too loose.Once again, under ten days of use and it's already busted.The other one seems fine, but I'll be incredibly upset if that one breaks as well, and I will be seeking either a refund or return. I know it's not uncommon for horses to break halters, but this quickly? That's ridiculous. I've never even had a mini break a halter like this, I've only had big horses bust them.I'm hoping it's just a fluke, because I love the other halter. I had planned to replace all the halters in our stable with them, but now I guess I won't be. If the other one holds up and I can get this one replaced, I'll consider ordering more for our other horses and change my review.

This is a really nice halter. It has padding over the nose & behind the ears. I got the large for my Mini, it was too big so reordered a medium. It has a nice clip on side of the head so once it's adjusted behind the ears you can take it on & off really easily.

I have purchased multiple halters like this over the past couple of years with no trouble. This one is for one of my rescue minis that came from TX totally traumatized. It took a couple of months to get him in a halter. I bought him a new halter, used in 3 times just to lead him to the round pen and back and the hook/snap under the chin was defective and broken. When I tired to exchange it, the date expired. One star - for customer service regarding my return.

Nice halter, fits my larger AMHA with a dished head nicely. I love the adjustable noseband and the padding. The buckle is a bit cumbersome on the noseband, though, making it hard to attach a lead without fuss. Otherwise very good quality for the price.

This is a nice little padded halter. Size medium fits my 10h pony pretty well. The padding is soft. The halter is durable and functional.I feel like it would look nicer if the straps were a touch less wide, and I didn't like that the red is really faded to the point of being orange. I'd love more color options too!

Great product finding a halter that is adjustable to fit a mini is not easy with this halter it is easy. I love the padded poll and nose band. Nice and soft on their delicate faces. Easy on off with the quick detach clip. Loved it so much I ordered another for our other mini.

I have owned miniature horses for close to 25 years and in all this time i have never found a halter that fits as well as this one. The padded areas are a bonus and the buckles are easily adjusted. I would recommend this halter to anyone. And the price was right too!

My daughter loves this. It’s a bit big on her mini right now but he is still growing so it will fit soon enough. The little rope is just for looks because it’s useless for actually leading a horse.

I bought the medium size for my mini who is 34.5” tall and this fits her perfectly. Colour is beautiful. I would recommend this halter.
