Simple, light, and foolproof - exactly what you need when traveling
If you're deciding between this or a block-style adapter (the kind with the built-in USB ports), read on.I purchased this and a block-style universal adapter (the kind with the built-in USB ports) before traveling to multiple countries. This is simpler, lighter, and generally easier to use than the block-style adapter. I already own an assortment of USB adapters that I use at home in the United States, so I don't need a separate one for international travel. I just need a plug adapter - this set was perfect.Traveling in Europe, I put the appropriate adapter in my pocket so I could charge my mobile phone on the go; something you can't do with a block-style adapter because it's too big. Each adapter is nicely labeled with some of the countries that use that style plug. Unlike block-style adapters, there are no fuses to burn out on this set. While I didn't have any issues with my block-style adapter, I encountered two people who had theirs fail during their travels. One had a plastic lever break and the other blew a fuse (and didn't have a replacement). In contrast, this set is foolproof - no levers, no fuses, just simple adapters.I would definitely purchase this again, in fact I now have multiple of these sets so I can share with my family when we travel internationally. I even travel with a set domestically. I've found that many of the US electric outlets on domestic airplanes are loose and worn out, but the European plugs are still tight and useful. With one of these adapters, I can easily plug in my laptop and continue to work while flying.

Works great, but be smart. It is not a voltage converter.
I bought this in 2016. Have used it on multiple trips, and it has worked every time. Used it in Japan, Singapore, Cambodia, England, France and the Philippines, to name a few.One needs to be mindful of voltage requirements, as this is not a transformer or voltage converter. It will not protect your hair dryer, if it is not voltage compatible in the country you are in, for example.

A great international travel solution without the bulk and safety risk of alternatives
Summary:-A compact, quality kit of all the adapters you need. Many international adapters out there are grotesque, multifunctional all-in-one beasts that have extraordinarily questionable safety and are generally bulky and irritating; moreover, you don't need all those options at one time. This Ceptics kit is super compact and much more useful; each adapter is individual and works very well. It also will only take up one outlet spot, unlike those massive adapters. The only downside is that due to the design, the weight of the adapter and plug combined can sometimes pull it out of the socket it is adapting, which can be irritating.Ultimately, I fully recommend this kit as your travel solution. I used it across Southeast Asia and had no problems in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and China.

Just What I Needed
These AC adapters are well made and fit nicely in a small pouch (provided). I just returned from a trip to Iceland and needed to use one the first night in the hotel. Having this kit was very convenient.

It worked fine but not compact
It worked but it was cumbersome, to cary all of the attachments. I preferred the single box type of converter. They were more compact and easier to pack

Easy to use
Great item! Worked well using it in Asia.

Worked in *most* but not all European outlets
Used for a trip to UK, France, Austria, Germany, and Belgium. In fact, left all but three adapters at home. UK adapter worked in every outlet we tried. European adapter(s) [one has larger diameter posts] worked in all outlets we tried except one flat, where the adapter could not insert into the recessed round outlet - the plastic body on this adapter was too large and interfered with some features on the outlet. Most outlets we encountered were CEE 7/1 or CEE 7/5 outlets that did not have these interfering features -- it was the CEE 7/3 (or "Schuko") outlets we encountered in a newer German flat that had the features on both sides which prevented this from being inserted.
