Not snowcone at all, but it shaves the ice and is easily adjusted to the fluffiness of the snow you want. The last one I bought was all metal and huge with deadly ice spikes on a wheel that spins. It was too deadly to get use to so I gave up before I lost some fingers.This countertop unit is good for home use. Many of the shave ice machines are commercial and overkill.

I love that it makes great ice bowl, but not love how i have to keep messing with the knob to get it to come out perfectly. But still worth because its not the commercial one.

Good item for the money. It isn’t the highest quality, but it dies an excellent job shaving fluffy ice.

Bought this over a year ago and it still works like a charm. I always take care of my machines through maintenance and keeping it clean and stored away from dust & oil. I've found that thr wide mouth yogurt containers are a perfect size. I'll usually have half a dozen pre frozen in ziplock bags in the freezer so the original molds will last longer and they still do. The machine itself is a perfect size for counters without taking too much space. The adjustable blade is great just keep it cleaned and don't over tighten the screws (hand tight is sufficient). Its great for small to medium size parties/groups as long as you rest the motor a few minutes after making 8 to 10 snow cones, a couple of minutes works fine. Its fast and efficient for personal home use. It's safe for kids that are aware and old enough of being safety conscious. Never take it for granted that kids know safety. I'm going to contact the seller to inquire of ordering the cup/blade mold as a backup.

Really liked that you can adjust the size of the shavings! I started by making the circle block of ice that came with it, because you only get one full size one I tried using a hand full of ice cubes and that works too! It won't shave them all the way down so to get a large bowl you have to shave and empty a couple times, but you still get fluffy light shaved ice. Would recommend

Great little ice shaver for the price. Being so small it doesn’t have the strongest motor in the world, but if your careful it works great. Best to get it on and moving first then slowly dial the blade in deeper into the ice. If you have the blade up in the ice and then turn the motor on it can get stuck and not spin. Other than that it’s been a great purchase. Compact so it’s easy to store and very simple to clean up.

I've given it a month and a half of daily use. At first it reduced whole ice cubes to shavings. Now it quits shaving the ice about two-thirds of the way through each cube, down from closer to four-fifths a couple of weeks ago. I infer that the spring mechanism intended to push the cubes down onto the shaving blade wears out too quickly.

かき氷が大好きなので購入しました。基本氷のみで作ってます。流石にお店のふわふわかき氷に比べると少し劣るかもしれませんが、この値段でかき氷が楽しめるのはありがたいです。シロップを使わなければセットも片付けも楽チンなので毎日のように作ってます。ふわふわに削るコツは、氷を削る１０分位前に冷凍庫から出しておき、表面が溶けるくらい氷を柔らかくする。削り歯の調整を細かくから徐々に回していき、常に”削れるか削れないかのギリギリのところ”で削ると比較的ふわふわになります。（歯の調整は細かくで削っているとすぐ削れなくなってくるので、その都度ほんの少しだけダイヤルを回して調整してます。）あと、氷を作る時にゆっくり凍らせるとふわふわになると聞いたので、氷ケースを緩衝材で巻いてから冷やしています。透明度が少し高くなりました。

他の方のレビューを参考に細かい方にネジをセットして作ってみました、とっても早くできてびっくり。氷を作るときに７分目くらいの水の量で作った氷の方がセットしやすく、氷も削りやすかったです。細かいので作った氷は今までのかき氷機で作ったものとは別物で、ふんわりして、口に含むと溶けるというキャッチフレーズどおりでした。これからレシピにある氷を作ってみたいです。

＜パーツ＞簡単に外せますが、食洗機でもないと歯を洗うのが痛くて大変です。購入前は小さなことだと思っていましたが、地味に辛いです。＜使い勝手＞白い部分を完全に外さないと氷をセットできず、手軽にかき氷を作れません。氷のセットの仕方が描かれていなかったので、てっきり上部が蓋でパカッと開くのかと思っていた。いちいち本体の半分をごぞっと外さないとセットできないとは思っていなかったのでビックリしました。更に、白い部分を含む蓋部分のかみ合わせがシビアで、一度外すとなかなか本体にハマりません。そして、そうこうしている内に少しでも氷が溶けると、空回りして一切氷が削れなくなります。＜量＞1杯分は少なめですが、少しでも溶けると削れなくなるので、手間取ると半分ほど氷が残ってしまいます。結果的に微量のかき氷しか作れません。残った氷は丸く分厚いので、通常サイズのコップではそのまま入りませんが、割って使うのも面倒です。＜ふわふわ度＞一番細かくして手動よりやや細かいかなくらいで、期待したほどではありませんでした。荒目は小さな氷粒で、スライスという感じではありません。＜耐久性＞パーツ強度は酷くはありませんが、お値段相当です。ただハメるのが大変なので、その時に本体に傷がつくので、あまり寿命は長くないだろうと思っています。＜総評＞背が高く、横幅もある上、立体的なので、かなり場所をとります。セットも大変ですし、これは買って失敗でした。値段がこの程度だから諦めがつきますが、数千円以上のものを購入しなくて良かったと思っています。

特に問題なかったです。最近よく見るふわふわとかさらさらとかがどんなものかと購入しましたが期待したほど良いとは思えませんでした。好みがあるので商品が悪いわけではないです。刃の調整ができるのでふわふわ雪みたいなかき氷も出来るし、もちろん普通のかき氷も出来るので、今まで電動のかき氷機を持っていなかった人なら買う価値はあると思います。

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  とにかく説明写真と使用感が違いすぎる。今すぐ返品したいレベル。使い方にコツがいるのかも。セットできる氷の大きさも微妙。かき氷器を買うのは２０年以上ﾌぶりだけど、前使ってた古い電動、手動のかき氷器の方がさらさらしてジャリのない仕上がりでした。試しに２個ぶん作ってみたけど既に買ったこと後悔してます。コツさえ掴めばふわふわかき氷作れるようになるのか不安で仕方ないです。三個めにチャレンジしてまだ市販のカップかき氷より粗い。ただでさえ使用勝手が面倒なのに重いミネラルウォーター使ってわざわざ買い物増やしたくない。と書き込んだのが昨日までの感想。３日目にしてようやくコツが掴めてきました。結果感想は敢えて★1のまま直してないけど★5に上がりました。どうしてもふわふわに削れない人、不良品と思うのわかります。私も昨日の昼までそう思ってたけどやっぱり理解力の問題でした。私の場合蓋の設置はすぐにコツが掴め(氷を傾けないようちゃんと平らに作ること、欲張って容器のライン以上の水を凍らせないこと)結局説明書も見ないまま使いこなせるようになり、粉雪のようなサラサラ氷も淡雪のようなふわふわ氷もボタン1つで難なく完成！大満足の買い物になりました。
