I love the look of these -- they are a great match for other screwless decorator plates, like the Lutron Claro ones I use. That said, in residential homes, it is often necessary to clean up the hole around the junction box to ensure a flat surface. Otherwise, this wall plate will not be flush at all and will show large gaps.The other issue with this product listing is that it is far too expensive. You can find these plates for much cheaper (closer to $2 a plate) at electrical supply stores. I don't know why they are so expensive here.

Replaced old Leviton wall outlet with this. Fitting could be better looks like it does not hug the wall like old one. Looks good though.

These plates really do install quite easily, and look sharp. Nice and clean without the scratched screwheads that you have to line up just so. One thing to be aware of is that you must have a switch box that is quite flush with the wall if you want the base piece of these units to also be flush with the wall. I had to tightened some of my my switch boxes a bit to eliminate the gap. The covers snap onto the base piece with a click and are easy enough to remove if adjustment must be made.I am extremely happy with the ease of installation and clean appearance of the Cooper Screwless Wallplates. And they are much easier to clean too.

I almost returned this product because of the same reason as the negative comments. The single screw in the middle left the outer edges loose from the wall and didn't look good at all. I almost returned them; but then I thought of something... I screwed the outlet in tighter because it was too loose, then I scraped off and cleaned up the imperfections around the wall which were lifting the plate off the wall on one side. This solved the problem! It was nearly impossible to find this dual outlet screw less cover by any manufacturer, so I'm glad I purchased these. They look beautiful now.

I am not sure why other reviewers were not happy with this wallplate. I have been changing all my receptacles andswitxhes to Decora type using the Lutron screwless plates. Lutron does not have a wall plate for the regular shaped outlets so I had to find another model. This one is a very good choice. It is not the same as a Lutron but it installed very easily and quickly and looks great when installed.

They take a little bit of time (1-3 minutes) per outlet to clean around the edges of the drywall of any protrusions and adjust the outlets, etc. But once done and installed, they are great and sit nice and close to the wall. 5-stars.

These are a very cheap way to give a room or your whole home a very clean finish. I have done every room in the house (minus the bedrooms) and it looks fantastic. You will never accept face plates with dirty nasty exposed screws again after buying these.
