Barbie A Fairy Secret Doll

I went to a local store to purchase the Fairy Secret transforming doll (the one on the commercials) for my child's B-day. When I looked at it in person, I really, really didn't want to spend the money on it even though my daughter asked for it. I went online to see if I could find it cheaper, but all I found were a bunch of bad reviews stating the transforming doll does not function properly. Great...the one thing she wants is a piece of crap, so I was just about to suck it up & purchase anyway when I saw this version (non-transforming) on Amazon.Needless to say, I immediately purchased!! I bought this doll along with the Fairy Secret Book & DVD...it is perfect!! It does appear that the legs are hard plastic (the transforming doll is the same), but I don't think my daughter will really care. So for me, the $14.99 is basically paying for the outfit & shoes that can be worn on any of her other dolls. The wings just velcro to the dress which is even better! This version actually follows the movie & the book closer as Barbie gets fake wings attached to her dress to fly to Fairy something or other.

my daughters love this doll. It may not be the best made ever, but overall they are very exited about the new movie and love playing with the doll. She does not bend like other barbies and is not very posable but overall is a very pretty and sturdy doll. I like this doll a lot better than the "transforming doll". After reading other reviews on the "transforming doll", I decided to purchase this for my little girls (Molly and Casey). They are so happy with the dolls that it was worth every penny.

I was not impressed when I finally got this barbie out of the box (no more difficult than other toys). It's pretty for sure her sparkly wings and dress and super cute shoes. BUT she is the cheap 6.99 barbie that doesn't bend. She is the cheap, hard, unbendable plasic. Her legs and arms move but not the knees. I'm not that impressed for 15 bucks! My three year old is over the moon happy with her "Fairy wings Barbie" so I'll suck it up and continue to buy them for her.

After receiving this doll on Christmas morning, my daughter pointed out that the soft wings were not what she has seen from friends who have this doll-she has seen plastic wings. I like them because they velcro onto the doll and so can be removed but she was somewhat disappointed-not what she expected (I'd have never known the difference). Otherwise we're very happy and received the package very quickly!

Absolutely gorgeous.A much loved barbie for Tiarna to play with. She has so much fun playing with it.Thanks so very much :-)

I would recommend this for any little girl who loves fairies and/or Barbie. I can't wait to give it to my 6-year-old niece---she will love it!

My GRAND DAUGHTER loves this doll. It came so quickly, well packaged and she couldn't wait to get it opened. Out of the 354 dolls she has...she loves this one the best. Great shoes...

A very exciting gift for a five year old... she loved it!
