It’s quick easy and saves on water. If you’re making deviled eggs for a gathering this is wonderful. I have suggested to many friends to go on Amazon and purchase one.

Ours turns off when done, but then comes back on!

Worse instruction sheet I have ever seen, and I use to proof read instruction sheets for a living. Going to copy step 2 of instructions, just so you can get a laugh at how badly this is written.2 preparing eggsThe amount of water at the bottom of the needle at one end of the egg stab a hole, which prevents the eggshell in the steaming process. Than put eggs on the drag of eggs, then put together in a heating cooker on the chassis, cover.It only gets worse, best off throwing the instructions away and taking a stab in the dark on how to use it.It says the measuring cup is marked for how done you want the eggs. It is not, it's marked from 20ml up to 70 ml, but doesn't say 20ml is soft boiled, or that 70ml would be hard boiled. Just assuming less water means less steam and the unit will shut off sooner, therefore being not as done. Haven't used it yet, going to have to experiment with amount of water to use.Oh and the description here says it comes eith a tray for making poached eggs, it does not, which is really disappointing, that was the main reason I bought it.I've used it several times now, it works Ok, but the quality is poor. The unit is not level so the bottom of the heating element where the water is put has burned on one side due to lack of water on that side. Need to keep a level and some cardboard/paper handy so I can raise one side a little bit to keep it from burning.I also had the problem with it turning back on by itself. I automatically unplug it when it first shuts off. Also does not have a buzzer or bell to let you know when it's done. So need to stay in the room the entire time the eggs cook.

Works great but you need to watch it. It turns off when done, but then turns back on again if you don't unplug it.

Absolutely love this egg cooker! The only thing is that the metal plate does get a little brown & it's impossible to scrub off. However, I did read in the instructions, that will happen. Its tells you upfront. Other than that, my eggs come out perfect

I have had many egg steamers. I don't often return Items. I am not going to return this. I am going to throw this one in the garbage. The part that pokes a hole in the egg is horrible it is made of plastic and not sharp and quite large I broke an egg trying to use it. The part that you measure the water was to small and the hardboiled eggs weren't done. It doesn't have a buzzer to signify that the eggs are done.
