Superfish Pond Skim 2000 2,000L/h 25w

Not sure if ours was actually faulty but it tended to float up out of the water, perhaps when it started to get blocked. We had to send it back. It might work better for a very small pond although it's not the most aesthetic of items to have in a small ornamental space. It has such a gentle pull that you can watch leaves being drawn towards it very very slowly, but only from 1-2 feet away - not sure it can really keep a pond of the size stated in the specifications clear of debris. Needs cleaning very regularly (daily perhaps) which is a bit of a pain as you have to turn it off and pull it out with out spilling the debris and then get it to refloat again afterwards. IF you have any blanketweed at all, it will soon clog the sponge filter.

This unit constantly tilts in the pond during operation and the pump runs dry.I thought the first one was just faulty so had it replaced free of charge the second unit did exactly the same.I have to weight it down with a stone to get it to operate correctly. It eventually clears the pond but have seen better performance from other skimmers.Not really recommended.
