I was looking for a holder for my hand painted coasters. This holder was not only the perfect size, it is also very decorative and sturdy. I sprayed it gold, to better match the trim I painted on the coasters. This is the second holder I have purchased, and would definitely recommend this product.

We actually got this to use as a stand. for a color changing spot standard. It works perfectly.

Some may prefer the sides be a little taller. I Don't plan on dragging the holder across furniture. I did unintentionally slide one but it didn't scratch my table.

I was looking for simple and inexpensive holders for some of my favorite coasters that did not come with any holders, and these looked like they would fit the bill. The 3-pack arrived in fine shape with none of the defects that others have reported. Coasters larger than 4 inches in diameter may not fit in these holders, but that is not an issue for the coasters I will store in them. With a storage height of 2.5 inches, the stated holder capacity of 4 to 9 coasters is a bit on the conservative side. These holders can accommodate 5 of my half-inch thick round wooden coasters with cork inserts, 9 raised dot round rubber coasters, 10 simple round cork coasters, 16 fairly thin round woven wool coasters, 20 smooth surface round silicone coasters, 12 round felt coasters, and even 12 hexagonal felt coasters that slightly exceed 4 inches in the longest dimension (but only 4 inches flat side to flat side). The holders get a 4 star rating rather than 5 stars because they do not have any type of padding on the base to minimize possible nicks or scratches on tables, cabinet shelves, or other furniture. I solved that potential issue and eliminated even minor wobbling by using adhesive-backed thin rubber strips to wrap the base sections, augmented by a wrap of Scotch tape to make sure the rubber strips stay attached. Not a very elegant solution, but it gets the job done. And as long as there are one or two coasters still in the holder, my improvised padding approach is not a glaring eyesore. A more elegant alternative to my do-it-yourself pads would have been the 5-inch round silicone table pads offered by Dayree on the Amazon website, something that I did not find until after I finished my improvised pad project.

I give this item 5 stars because it is attractive, functional, and it appears sturdy. It's my fault that I thought my 4.25" coasters would slide easily into this 4.3" holder. They will fit snugly, but only just--you have to coax them in/out. I'm returning the holder because I want the coasters to glide in and out more easily. I think this holder is really made for 4" coasters.

these are just what i was looking for. they are a little higher then what i already have so they fit 6 coasters comfortability.will order again when needed
