I’m a Realtor and 1 of my listings caught a kitchen fire. Thank goodness it was contained to one room and no one was hurt. However, after the kitchen remodel the fire smell persisted. Thankfully I found this spray which helped enormously with the burnt fire smell. I was able to move forward and sell the house. (With full-disclosure of course) I highly recommend this spray if you’ve had a fire.

I do Estate Sales. Recently I was contacted by a family to sell the contents of a deceased relative's estate. Everything in the home smelled of smoke. I felt as though I had been submerged into a giant ashtray when I entered. I knew that it would be really hard to get people to buy things from this house. I wouldn't be able to work there. We removed all the curtains, and other removeable items that might retain the odor, and contacted a professional service to use an ozone machine to remedy our dilemma. We were pleasantly surprised. That lasted all of 2 days before the place smelled like smoke again. Then I learned about Fire D. We followed the directions, using cans thoughout the house. Voila! The results were amazing and the cost was a mere fraction of what we paid the professional service. We had a successful sale, and people who knew what the place was like before I came along with Fire D were stunned with the results. I would recommend this to anyone who has odors to deal with, and isn't in a position to paint and replace carpet!

The product itself is great, definitely recommend it. But purchasing it here results in you placing an order that should be a 12 count, for almost $60 but they one send one. Really sucks.

Had a horrible smoke smell in the house, was worried I was going to have to call in the pros and then a buddy told me about this! Tried this and ZEP both - Truly AMAZED at the results of both honestly! One can cleared out the smell in the whole house - the farthest back bedroom still had some smell, so I ordered another can, tried the ZEP product just to see how it did - and it cleared it out completely in minutes! Hard to say which is better.

A friend left a pan if food on his stove while ha answered his doorbell, and the food burned. It smoked up his kitchen pretty badly. He closes his bedroom doors, so the rest of the house wasn't smoked up much. I set this can iff in his kitchen and we left to go have dinner. We returned a couple of hours later to a pretty pleasant smell, kind of like bubble gum. Over the next couple of weeks, this smell faded and some of the smoke odor has returned. So it is better than it was, but more or less covered up rather than truly eliminated.
