My boys (age 2 and 4) love dinosaurs. THis was the first terrasaur I have gotten for them and they love playing with it. They often use it as a bath toy (since they know that many flying reptiles ate fish) and they dive it down into the water on it's hunt. The details are great, so many dinosaur toys are sloppily done or painted in unlikely color combinations, but this looks like it could be what a tapejara actually looked like.

My nephew's special interest is dinosaurs. He's been obsessed since he was a toddler. He's got multiple copies of the usual dinos (T-Rex, triceratops, etc.) so we're having to branch out and find new ones for him. He's also extremely smart and can tell you everything about the dinos - scientific name, genus, which period they lived in, where they've been found, what they likely ate, the differences between two similar species, etc. This toy passed his inspection on anatomical correctness (as far as not having random ridges or spikes and not missing defining features, etc.) Some reviews mentioned this being small, but it wasn't really small compared to most of his toys. I mean it would be weird if it were any bigger and seemed to tower over the other, much-larger-in-real-life dinos. I also liked that the wings were somewhat flexible and not rigid, though they were strong enough to maintain their shape. Overall it was definitely a good buy and I think we'll be buying from this company again.

Another great creature from, Safari Ltd. Wild Safari. Their reproductions are uncanny to the real ones that walked the Earth, millions of years ago. My grandson has a book I just got him from, ' National Geographic". It as if they took a picture, scaled and painted it to match. This is so detailed. He is so realistic looking. I would not hesitate to buy any of their,'creatures". Thank you !

My grandson begged me for this gift and when he got it he was overjoyed and played with it for hours. What more could you ask for

My 10-year-old son was disappointed with this dinosaur. He did not like it; it looks cheap and is a complete waste of his money.
