Dorwest Paw & Nose Balm For Dogs And Cats 50ml

Very useful product for dogs that have cracked/dry paws. Our 8 month lab has started to develop dry and cracked paws due to the weather and her daily walks. We thought about using other non dog products, however our lab eats anything and we didn't want to risk her eating anything unsafe. PROS: + Easy to apply + Nice smell (personal opinion) + Actually works, it has smoothen out the cracks and has left her paws smooth and soft again + Quick results CONS: + Lab keeps licking and eating the product off her paws + Price is also expensive, we have already used up 30% over a month However this is still 5 stars, the product works very well but there are products out there that do the same job at half the price. Just apply a thin layer and make sure your dog doesn't eat it all!

This paw balm smells lovely and its properties are really effective. Keeps my dog's paws and nose moistured and I recommend it!!

I bought this to soothe my dog's sore nose. It is a nice balm, soft, easy to apply and safe. My dog was fine with it. I feel that Dorwest products are pure and high in quality and so I have confidence in using them. However, this balm was unable to remove the degree of soreness my dog had, although moisturizing to an extent, so I have had to use something more lubricating for this particular problem.

Bought this paw balm as my dog had a painful sore on his pad from road grit. I'd heard great things about Dorwest and bought this to help his paw heal. It worked so quickly I was amazed and he was back to his normal self in a few days. I also used it on my mother in law's spaniel who has a chronically dry nose and after just one application it was looking much better - and even more surprisingly he tolerated having it put on his nose. The balm has a lovel smell but it's not overpowering and my dog has licked it with no ill effects and he's not bothered by having it applied to his paws. What's more I love that this is a natural product that comes in a metal tin! I put the balm on my dogs paws once a week or more to keep them nice and moisturised and wouldn't be without this handy little tin now, highly recommend.

Our poor 16 year old doggy was generally under the weather with lots of ailments and a horrid dry crusty nose added itself to the list. I purchased this and managed to get it on him every day for about a week - usually first thing in the morning when he's all sleepy and didn't realise what I was doing! He definitely did NOT appreciate having it rubbed on and sniffed and snorted and snotted for a good 5 minutes afterwards each time but.... BUT! It seemed to do the trick and his nose cleared up and has been crust-free for at least a couple of weeks now. Great product. I couldn't rank the "flavour", "thickness" or "sheerness" as Amazon seemed to want me to do.... I have no idea why! I would say if your dog has a crusty painful nose, give it a go!!

This worked well but is in the higher price range so I tried a cheaper one which was a big mistake, you definitely get what you pay for with this product, definitely worth the higher price, it softens cracked pads after the first application for my little schnauzer.

Lovely makes my dogs paws soft but all she does is lick it off. Can you make it taste bad?

My dog's paws were starting to feel a little dry and so decided to try this on a groomers recommendation and I have to say his paws are looking better after a few weeks and he likes having this applied. Its not too strong smelling but a nice scent. I have light coloured carpets and was a bit worried about it leaving marks but it absorbs well and I havent had any issues with that. A very good little product for a pampered pooch!
