Cameo is the cat's meow for high quality stainless steel cookware. I am not a fan, not even remotely, of the other popular powders and liquids. They just don't work like Cameo. I use it, combined with a stainless steel scrubber to get the most difficult mess off my stainless steel. Around the rivots just put a little on and go over it with a toothpick and it comes out beautifully. I keep a backup supply on hand at all times.

Since 1980's I've had 6-ply stainless steel full series of pots and pans by Lifetime. They recommended to use Cameo cleaner, and I did ever since. I live in a small community and the local Home Hardware store lately stopped carrying this product. So I knew what I am ordering and getting. Ordering from Amazon was easy, delivery fast. I used to buy one for my daughter in-law, who lives in Squamish close to Vancouver, BC. She was unable to locate one in her shopping area, and I will share one of these with her, also.

I have used this product bought from local store for years but they were out of stock so bought on line. The package is new and features the Brillo trade mark so I wonder if trhe original company was bought out? I have not made a direct comparison with the remainder of the old package but my impression was that it was not quite as good as the old product. Maybe entirely subjective I'll have to do a side by side check. Having said that it performed well and is a satisfactory product at a reasonble price for the quantity. It lasts a long time. I use it on stainless and brass. lt is claimed to work on porcelain and I plan to check that for a stove top finish.
