It’s definitely a hard hat

This hard hat surprised me. For the price, this thing was a steal! Extremely well made, the adjustable strap on the back is so convenient & works smoothly. You can adjust while wearing it which to me is a huge bonus. The padding on the inside & just the way it sits on your head is really comfortable. 10/10

4.5 stars. I'm a noobie. so I had difficulty figuring our how to attach the head suspension assembly to the 4 insertion sockets located in the interior of the helmet. The Step 1 diagram (on the plastic bag) is not large or descriptive enough to show the correct orientation of the connectors, so I took off 1/2 star for the rating. Otherwise, I'm glad I purchased this full brim Ridgeline helmet. It's comfortable, has a good fit, and is substantial. The ratchet dial for adjust ti your head size dial works great. I feel this helmet is far and away a superior helmet to the basic 3M helmets you can purchase at Lowe's/Home Depot/Amazon.

I did a lot of comparison shopping and this was best! Great hard hat for a great price. It's comfortable, lightweight, perfectly vented to keep his head cool, protective, durable, and the adjustable head strap thingee lets him tweak it for a perfect fit. This hard hat stays on even when a branch whacks him but is never too tight or constrictive. He loves it! So that's good enough for me!

While it does have vents at the top, they do not seem to be doing an enough of an appropriate job in 'venting' arena when it comes to hard hats. Maybe it's because I'm bald and I sweat a lot, but was looking for a venting hard hat and I suppose the quest will need to continue. Compared to my non-venting hard hat it is much better, just trying to find a hard hat that will not just get saturated with my sweat each and every day.
