Mountek Reach Magnetic Back Seat Headrest Car Mount for Smartphones, Phablets and Tablets

I received mine, tossed it on in about 2 minutes, put a metal plate on my Galaxy Tab S 10.1, and took it for a 5 hour car ride to Pismo Beach.First let me say that mine came with all 6 magnets. But even if it didn't Mountek will send you the replacement magnets free of charge, the day you contact them.Second, as it seems some other people had this issue, I've never had an issue with the rubber piece that covers the magnet falling off.My wife's chocks are in desperate need of being replaced. That care will let you know when it hits a bump. I was half expecting the tablet to fall off, or at least shift or slide down the mount a little because some of the bumps we encountered were pretty rough. But the tablet (mind you a 10 inch tablet) stayed exactly where we put it with no shifting.Once we arrived in Pismo, we easily removed the tablet and got out of the car.We've had plenty of car rides with no problems whatsoever.One of the nice things about this mount is that the magnetic mount is attached to an adjustable rod, that lets you adjust how far the magnet mount sticks out from the head rest. This allows you to get maximum angle adjustment for even largest tablets,We love this mount and I'm definitely buying another one for my car.

Same issue as others, The magnetic mounting plate came off after 2 days. I registered a ticket with Customer Support and they told me the replacement part is 15USD. I've used it once.Great design with telescopic magnetic head...but it's useless if it falls offNOT RECOMMENDED

In general the idea for the magnets are great. I have several other Mountek products. However, the rubber covers consistently gets knocked off. I even got replacement covers that were supposed to be better but no matter what, as soon as someone (kids) rubs against it, the cover falls off. You will need to get some rubber cement to glue the covers unto the magnets.

I have been a long time customer of Mountek and usually love their products, I can't stand by the Reach though. First the plastic cover over the magnets comes off extremely easily, I have 2 for less than 6 months and have lost both because my kids brush past it getting in and out of the car. Losing said cover means its unusable as its the only thing keeping the magnets in place. Also the entire head comes off if bumped wrong, but that is understandable.I wouldnt give such negative reviews but I contacted Mountek with my issue with the covers and their response was to order $15 worth of magnets + $5 shipping and they will throw in 2 new plastic covers for free! WHAT A DEAL!If you buy this I suggest crazy gluing the cover in place, then it should be a fine product.I don't know why they moved away from the nGroove snap system where it was impossible to uncover the magnets, but they did leading to a much worse product

I bought 2 of and they both were missing magnets. Instead of the 6, they both only had 4 magnets. Magnets are quite weak, but will hold your tablet without a case. I wouldn't trust it on a bumpy road.
