Nice piece

I typically wear size 10/12 in pants and an 8/10 in a dress and would say my body shape is curvy. I ordered a medium, and just sits on my hips without the elastic stretching at all. I may have been able to get away with a small. The slip rides up with a pencil skirt, but is nice for something less fitted. There is a slit on it (just one, on the side). The fabric is not light blocking and quite thin. Feels very airy to wear it. Helps skirts not stick to nylons, but not for use with form fitting skirts. All in all, I really like it. Very comfy and soft.

I wore this for the first time yesterday under a cotton skirt from the Gap and over bare legs, and it slid up the entire day. I kept having to re-adjust it, which was very frustrating since I was out shopping with a friend.The length on this is also 16" (it's not clearly marked on the description) if you order the standard one.I know that I purchased the right size since any smaller or bigger wouldn't fit, but this one just didn't work for me, and I'm frustrated that I spent money on it. I'm going back to Farr West slips, which, while more expensive, always seem to work great.

The waistband is wide, soft, and will not roll or pinch. The length is perfect and the slip stays in place. I bought one in nude, white, and black. It is hands down the most comfortable and useful half slip I've ever worn. Never did understand why other slips have a tight, small elastic waistband that pinches if it's not absolutely a perfect fit (and you don't eat a meal while wearing it)! This style has a wide, soft elastic waistband that couldn't be more comfortable. A great find!! Edited-- In reference to another reviewer's comment about not having worn it with stockings and the unknown potential static cling factor: there is no problem with static cling and stockings with this slip. It's a fabulous slip all the way around.

This slip is still a little too long for the particular dress for which I bought it, but it's honestly the best I could find. I wore it with something else, though, and It's comfortable, functional, and stays in place very well - I only readjusted it after 'powdering my nose'. I gave it four stars only because it's too long for me and I couldn't find anything shorter; but I'm petite (5'1"), so I marked 'Fit as expected' based on the waist line.

I was looking for a short, nude slip that did not have an elastic waistband and was not compression. This slip is absolutely perfect. The quality is nice. The lace waistband is really nice and very flattering and allows you to wear the slip shorter or longer depending on your needs. It's perfect for sheer summer dresses. I usually wear a small (I'm 5'3" / 122 lbs) and the small fits just right, not tight.I am very happy and would absolutely recommend.

Soft, silky, smooth fabric. LOVE the waist- it's a 2 inch wide band of elastic lace: SUPER COMFY! As I am writing this, there are different lengths available. I got the 16 inch and its perfect for shorter above the knee-length skirts or dresses. If you are tall- you may need to order the longer one (scroll in the drop down menu). I suggest doing an actual measurement of the length of the skirt you plan to wear it with, or the length from your hip (or waist) to where your skirts or dresses usually fall.EDITED FEB 6, 2015 If you have a problem with static- it may be 1 of 2 things. 1. It isn't the slip thats static- its your skirt, to which I would suggest wiping the inside of it with a dryer sheet before you put it on. Or 2, it's because you've dried the slip in the dryer. I wash mine in a mesh bag in the machine, I always use fabric softener, and I always hang it up to dry. I've worn this slip several times now and it is still, hands down, the most comfortable slip I've ever owned. Some say it rides up- I have not had that problem. Someone said it twists so the slit moves to the front, I have not had that problem either. All in all, this is a fantastic slip, made of a satiny smooth fabric, and I am very happy with it.

Great short slip. Will be perfect under dresses that hit at my knee. I am short/petite and have trouble with slips being so long. It is more of an a-line slip so works great with shift dresses and any other a-line skirts or dresses. The waist ban is also great as it is stretchy and does not cut off circulation or look like it pinches at the waist. Will probably order the tan one as well.
