101 Labs - IP Subnetting Kindle Edition

I was studying for the CompTIA network+ exam and had some issues grasping subnetting. After doing all of these exercises, Subnetting became really easy for me.

Good book for practicing at home. I wished this book was available years ago.

Great way to learn the topic. Good price

This book has some amazing info, however, you do need to know the basics as this is not a theory course.Need to know terminology and what subnetting is.

Good explanations, lots of practice.This is not the only book you will need for all of the details but it gives you a lot of practice with detailed explanations.

I love the thinking and shortcuts to subnetting. I wish I had know about this book years ago.

I see a lot of good reviews on here which is why I got this book. When I got it, I felt like someone had already been having a conversation about subnetting and they started teaching it somewhere in the middle and I totally missed something. I have no clue what to do. Not going to help me at all.

Still in the beginning of the book but can see it is effective

My review and requirements may not be relevant to all users, so be aware of that. I've been doing -- and teaching -- IPv4 networking and subnetting for several years and am pretty capable. I wanted something to help me understand what's new and different for IPv6, and this book was sorely lacking in that area. It says IPv6 in the title, but it only has a couple labs associated with IPv6 so was virtually useless for my needs. It's great from an IPv4 perspective, but that's not what I was looking for, and I find the title somewhat misleading given the level of IPv6 content it includes.
