Good Unit - Low Price
When I had a power outage right in the middle of a Windows Update I deceided I had to get a UPS. I spend a lot of time researching my options. This unit seemed like the best deal providing an LCD readout and the ability to easily turn of all alarms. Unit is well built. Documentation is adequate. Easy to set up. I did not install the provided computer software, as the LCD screen on the unit gives me plenty of information. When connections were complete and everything powered on (HP slimline desktop Computer, Modem, Router and 23" LED Monitor to the batttery outlets) the readout indicated I was only using 40% of the UPS output and that I could expect a battery back-up of 22 minutes. More than I had expected. I unpluged the unit and everything worked perfectly. All conected units stayed on, as if the power was still plugged in. Pluged the UPS back in and the unit went back to the household current. PERFECT... I highly recommend this unit. For the price, it cannot be beat! UPDATE 8/22/14: Unit continues to perform well. I have installed the software, and find it very good. I don't know how long the battery will last before it will need to be replaced, but this was money well spent. I hope they produce this product for many more years. UPDATE 7/9/16: The unit finally needed a battery replacement. So I got 5 and a half years life out of the battery. Not bad.....

So for so good..
UPDATE 8.4.2017...After the first UPS kept beeping and because Amazon would not take this back, I decided to see if I could repair this...I took the 6 screws out and removed the cover. Guess what I found, the positive cord to the battery terminal had just unplugged...this was due to the cover being installed at the factory and pushing the battery terminal off...Secured the battery terminal and took a pair of pliers and bent the terminal so it would make a tight fit. WOW, PROBLEM SOLVED...So if you have this constant beeping, remove the cover and see if the battery terminals are connected.. 7.22.2017 So for so good...since this is the second one ordered after the first UPS when turned on would just beep every second and would not stop...and everything seemed ok, display was good...and the software did self test was good...Contacted Amazon and the first CSR said I could not get a replacement or refund..I contacted Amazon the second time and they happily shipped me another one right away...But remember, they will not take these as a return...hazardous equipment, REALLY, HOW DID I GET THIS THING SHIPPED TO BEGIN WITH??? My current unit did its one beep and self test and turned on and no problem so far as of 7.22.17. THANKS AMAZON...KEEP CALLING AMAZON, THEY WILL SHIP YOU ANOTHER UPS

Good basic UPS, but the USB connection caused intermittent problems with my other ports
I have had this UPS in service for several months now. It is a solid unit. Sits on my desktop doing its thing without complaining. According to the CyberPower widget, my total power draw ranges between 85 and 120 watts, which is about 20% of rated capacity. Works fine on the very rare power outage in keeping everything running. Only one serious complaint and the reason for deducting 2 stars: Just this week I found the cause of my desktop USB ports occasionally not working upon cold boot was the USB link with this unit. After unplugging the cable, no more problems. Since I will not be using the monitor/shutdown software, I uninstalled that as well. Update Nov 2016: Lost AC power, but the CyberPower did not keep my computer running; lots of beeping. Called tech support who answered immediately. Diagnosis was a bad battery. Since it was just within the 3-year warrantee, they sent me a replacement battery at no cost! The new battery installed easily and the unit is back up and running. It worked fine during a follow up power out test. Raising my rating by a star for the excellent tech support and honor of warrantee. One feature wish: I would like to be able to see wattage as one of the outputs on the LED display. Only shows AC voltage, minutes remaining, %Load and Battery State of Charge. You have to measure watts to calculate some of these values, so why not display it? The UPS is OK as a basic power backup, but disappointed with the USB interference issue.

High Quality Smart Workstation Power Backup Solution
I love these things i use them for individual workstation protection, for my Windows Home Server, even for my Salt Water fish tank. They work great, have a really nice LCD display which allows you to see various aspects of the device including: Battery Charge Battery Runtime Current Voltage Used These also have the absolutely necessary USB interface (finally sick of the serial interfaces) which allows you to adjust the power settings on your PC/server, to react accordingly once the device has gone on battery power. This is a really nice feature, which allows you to tell the PC to begin a safe shutdown after a select period of time on battery, thus protecting your system from the dreaded total power loss. I'm currently using 4 of these devices, with the oldest being around 4 years old, and in that period I've never had an issue once. I've done some testing on my heavily backed up home server, and found that i can get about a 8 minute runtime on the battery under standard load (500 W power supply server, 23" LED Monitor). This is more than enough for my needs, if you looking to hold enterprise class servers, or rack items, you'll need to look into something much more robust, but if you need to ensure that your workstation isn't murdered by a power surge or flash outage look no further!

Works exceedingly well and provides a solid, constant output current. I know this because the power at my house has been causing some of my electronic devices to fail due to power spikes/brownouts. Since the installation of these CyberPower 600VA UPS', I haven't had one component fail. The setup is extremely easy and the makers no longer require you to connect your battery leads, which was always annoying to do. During my one power outage, I had more than enough time to shut down my computer system, which has a 450 VA draw on it. Additionally, I bought a second unit of these and have attached it to my Plasma TV. The Plasma TV used to dim the lights when I turned it on, but this no longer occurs.
