Revell 03874 Fw190 A-8/R-2 "Sturmbock" 1:32 Scale Unbuilt/Unpainted Plastic Model Kit

This Revell 190 model is great, very detailed. Just a little bit of difficulty fitting engine to fuselage but enjoyable, very good set of decals.

I have to give this five stars based on the time it’s took me to put it together, certainly kept me occupied during lockdown. It’s a decent size and has a detailed instruction booklet in colour. It’s been years since I’ve completed a model as detailed and if I’m honest there’s times where it was a challenge specifically the engine and other fiddly areas. One thing to note the instructions where abit vague at times if your not sure which variant you want to make ... at least I thought they where !

Up to Revell's usual standard of complexity appropriate to level 5. Intricate kit with a very detailed radial engine. You do need to take great care to contain the large engine within the bounds of the cowling. The only item missing is the tailfin insignia which I understand cannot by law be produced in Germany so you will need to access that elsewhere.

The Revell 190 series is a decent enough kit , but the engine is a PIA , not detailed enough to display , and too large to make the cowlings fit easily , other wise it's a decent enough kit , accurate and easy to assemble engine excepted!

Arrived within the alloted time , well boxed nothing damaged. Bought it after seeing some reviews don't think I shall be disappointed alot of kit for the price and looking forward to spending many hours putting it together.

Che dire da neofita. Secondo aereo che assemblo, sono ancora agli inizi, quindi una mia recensione non sarebbe corretta. Posso dire che anche se il modello non sia perfetto negli incastri mi sto divertendo anche nel risolvere i problemini riscontrati. Cmq do 5 stelle perché mi piace moltissimo. Qualità revel nel totale ottimo, specie nelle definizioni.

The engine and cowling issues reported about this kit just take the skill level up to a 6. The finished models being shown on the internet have many aftermarket add-ons with most being from Eduard, and these extras super detail this kit.

Excellent modell that correspond with historical. quality of plastic is good, decals are nice and well printed. No tail decals but for Ravell this is normal. there is reasonable good quality when assembling. There was good fitt and not much need for putty and sanding. Everything was as expected and I am very satisfied with my buy. So far, this was best Revell model I assembled and it is really nice.
