Perfect
These gloves are exactly what I was looking for and I am extremely pleased with them!I needed something to cover my hands at night after I applied Bag Balm to sore dry and cracked finger tips, I found myself wishing that we still had Woolworth's stores because that's where my Mom got her gloves. Amazon to the rescue again! They are short, coming just at my wrist but that's fine because I only needed them for my finger. These gloves come will fit either hand comfortably, there are two gloves in the box. I highly recommend these gloves.**addendum**: The first pair of gloves came in a nice box as pictured here. The second pair came in a dirty ziplock bag with dried ink stains in the outside and a sticky label with the product name and number. the gloves are fine, I moved both pair to the box for storage. This review would not have been five stars if the dirty plastic bagged gloves came first.

Thin, snug fitting cotton gloves help my balm absorb.
I make my own hand balm and wanted gloves to wear at night with the balm. I ordered these hoping they would fit.I am a medium framed woman with average sized hands. These are very thin and fit snugly with a bit of room to spare for those with longer fingers and slightly larger hands. I wore them last night with my balm on my hands and I feel like they did a good job at protecting the area around me from getting greasy and also helping my hands absorb the hydration. I hand washed them and let them air dry and they are fine.I don't think anyone should put these in the dryer because they are all cotton and will shrink. Hand washing in cool water and air drying resulted in them staying the same size for me. They are super thin but that is fine because I don't want my hands to be too warm nor do I want to lose the ability to use my fingers when these are on. These work fine for me. They're inexpensive and do the job. I don't know how long they will hold up but so far, so good. I was expecting them to be thicker but I now realize that thinner really is better. They don't seem to absorb my balm and they let my hands breathe. I would not recommend these for those with large hands as they are fairly snug on my medium women's sized hands.

Great for moisturizing dry hands!!
I ordered these to wear at night when I put moisturizing lotion on my hands at night, for intensive therapy for dry winter skin. I need to wash my hands constantly during the day for my job, so they get sooooo dry in the winter. I put really thick moisturizing cream (or even just vaseline) on my hands, really gooping it on nice and thick, then cover them up. In the morning, voila! It's all absorbed, with perfectly soft, moisturized hands. Don't need to do it every night, but a couple nights a week works. I used to put socks over my hands, but when I saw the gloves, I thought it would be a lot more convenient, and it is. I don't know what else you would use these for, maybe polishing brass or something?Anyway, they work beautifully for what I need them for.

Great quality for as cheap as they are
Had to buy these online, because I couldn't seem to find any in the town where I live. It'd be nice if you had the option of picking a size because the fingers are a little long, but since that is a problem I usually run into with gloves that's not a surprise. The gloves do cover my wrist, so the person who said they didn't probably just needed a large rather than the medium that's automatically sent. Despite the fact that they are a little big they do fit well enough that I'm able to wear them while typing this review. The gloves look really durable, especially with as inexpensive as they are.

Won't stay on my hands. Stretched out and got too loose on first use.
My job requires that my hands are in water a good part of the day so my hands are always severely dry. I’ve been doing cotton gloves with moisturizer at night a few times a week for the last 20 years. Needless to say I’ve gone through a ton of night-gloves. I never launder them, (I use udder ointment/bag balm which doesn’t wash out of fabric after it saturates it) I just throw the gloves away when they get too gross. So I always buy the cheapest ones I can find. Even though I always buy the least expensive ones, I’ve never had any complaints about any of the brands until I bought these. Even though the finger length is long enough on these, the gloves barely cover the bottom edge of my palms, plus they got stretched out and loose around the bottom the first time I used them and now they slide off my hands all the time. I’m going back to the last brand that I bought that was longer and covered the top of my wrist. Also, a quick FYI for guys shopping for night-gloves: If you decide to waste your money on these anyway, bear in mind they are sized for women's hands so buy a size larger than you would normally

Wash first
I have very sensitive skin with eczema. I received these gloves and put them on out of the package. From what was written on the product description I assumed I could put them right on. I had a terrible flare up and ended up having to go to the doctor. We believe it was the gloves. I think the 100% cotton is probably correct but new fabric is typically treated with chemicals. I am very sensitive to formaldehyde which is on most products these days. Silly me, I should have washed them a few times before using. The gloves fit well and seemed to be good quality but for us folks that have sensitive skin it would be nice if they suggested washing first.

Great gloves
These were a little tight getting on first time. My hands have looked like I was a 90 year old as well as cracked and bleeding now an then. I have tried every hand lotion. Then I was told if I slathered my hands in baby oil and put on cotton gloves before bed it would help. what did I have to loose? Three nights later you can't tell there the same hands, soft and smooth and pretty much healed. I will do this every night. Thank you gloves, they don't slip off and they may obsorb some of the oil but not a problem
