Osprey Packs Meridian 75L/28 Wheeled Luggage

Lots of space, decent shoulder straps and handy detachable day pack.No loose straps to get torn off on the baggage carousel.Only thing missing is a hip belt...

I like everything about this rucksack, the small piggyback rucksack ideal once you collect the main one off the conveyor belt, or to use just on days out.

I love the versatility of this backpack/ bag. I mainly used it as a wheels bag when I travelled to Greece last summer, with the odd time up a donkey path as a backpack. The detachable day pack was great for beach trips and the odd overnight stay here and there. The daypack is compact and light with an airy back panel, whilst the larger pack has good compartmental space and really effective compression straps. I particularly found the flat pocket at the back/bottom of the bag, handy for storing a sketch pad and flat shoes as well as the straps for the backpack neatly tucking away. The small pack was also easy to quickly release at the airport, and I was also travelling with a guitar case which at times I managed to strap to the larger bag with the use of a caribina, and the existing outer straps, whilst carrying the day pack on my back. It’s a good sturdy bag allround really. The only possible downsides to the bag are, if I had wanted to carry it as a backpack then there was no waist/ hip support, and of course the versatility of it being a backpack with wheels adds to the overall weight, although the backpack straps are detachable. All in all it was exactly the right bag for my 3 month trip, and I love the colour a beautiful shade of green). Thank you Osprey, it really worked well for me.

Dreadful purchase. To be fair, the wheels worked great. But the small front backpack was tiny, and hardly fit anything, while being very unwieldy. Most of the bag seems to be bulky padding, and the zippers on the main bag, are rigid and have no give. Despite packing lightly, this bag was not sufficient, and after the first day. I could not wait to get rid of it- which I did, and purchased a regular suitcase. It's quite a big backpack from the outside, but, like I said, most of that appears to be padding, meaning you have not got much capacity for packing. I would not recommend this bag.

I travel with this to China often. It is a perfect size and very durable. Nice pocket design. The small backpack is perfect for my IPAD pro and accessories. I travel for 2 weeks at a time so this is very useful. At the airport, very easy to use without having the burden of a heavy backpack. I took out the shoulder straps and it gives even more storage space for socks, and toiletries. I just wish they made a slightly larger version.

Materiale di qualità, poi quanto resistente sarà lo potro dire dopo alcuni viaggi.Interno con altre tasche pe disporre comodamente la roba. Lo zaino piccolo frontale e facilmente staccabile e anche si vede comodo per la giornata.Permette portarlo sulle route o se trasformalo in uno grande zaino, con un arnese comodo per la schienaDopo un tempo di utilizo recinsionero o nuovamente.

Osprey gear is fantastic. The warranty is awesome and the gear stands up to it. Well built luggage- the backpack is not filled with extras and would not necessarily be a bag you would buy standalone, but serves this purpose well. This fits perfectly for me as middle bag between a huge family bag and one that is too small for a single person over an extended period or if with a variety of clothing and gear.
