This book was very nice! I have to say I was very dissapointed! I bought this book for a friendafter reading the review. It was missing the reciepe for the Candy Cane Cake and most importantlythe Bunny Easter cake which was the reason I bought it for. A very good friend make the Easter Bunny cakeevery year.

Cute recipe book with great retro recipes for cakes of yesteryear!

I bought this for a family member who loves to bake. It got here fast, in excellent condition, and said family member has already make a lovely cake from one of the recipes :).

Extremely satisfied

Got this as a gift. I enjoy old school recipes so I was excited to get it. I decided to make the very first recipe- Monarch White Cake - and thought it looked odd that it only called for 2/3 cup of cake flour. I researched it online and found the original recipe that this was supposed to be copied from and found out it was supposed to be 2 2/3 cup of flour. I also noticed the directions say to add water but water isn’t listed in the cake ingredients. Looking at the original recipe online, it shows that you should have 2/3 cup of cold water.The directions in the book also forgot to tell you that you need to sift dry ingredients together three times. So if the first recipe is incorrect in this book, how many other recipes in this book are incorrect as well?
