Great fan. Good at what it does.
This fan is expensive for the fan. I bought a couple in March to be ready for the summer heat. Tried it a few times before with some of the heat we had in May.The fan is a bit of an awkward thing to put together but follow the instructions and the job is easy. The fan is quiet and I didn't know the fan had a remote so score there. The amount of air this thing passes through will cool a few people in a large room. I have it on setting 3 and it produces more push than the Honeywell tower fans. Its a worthy fan and a good one to have in a bedroom or somewhere you need quiet. The fan looks smart in a contemporary setting. There is a light that people complain of. For me it's a none issue unless you do get kept awake by the slightest of lights such as the time on a digital alarm clock. Another good touch is the sleep settings. I don't use this but I'd imagine some people may find it useful. The controller seems to work fine although I haven't put it through its paces. I can't remember if it came with batteries or not. One of the models does. If not no biggy. For this price point I think it is a good fan. You could go cheaper and not be confident in how long it will last. Honeywell are a respected brand and known brand which is why I bought 2 of them.It has solid plastic fans and not the film plastic that some cheaper brands opt for.I would recommend to anyone that has the budget.

Without a Doubt the Best Stand Fan
Firstly, I've been through a number of stand fans, most are largely the same design with a different logo printed on, this is not one of those fans.Build quality and assembly is exceptional, and if you've ever built a stand fan up before, this one is just as straight-forward. Only downside is that it didn't come with a paper instruction booklet. This fan looks great, very modern with simple gloss black aesthetics, only downside is the red plastic retaining nut for the fan blade, but this can't be seen from most angles anyway. The controls on the fan are great, 1. A simple power button 2. A timer function button (1,2,4,8 hour selection) 3. Speed control (5 settings) with a dimming blue gradient indicator light. The noise levels of this fan are amazingly low when compared to the alternative fans available on amazon. This fan did get slightly louder after a few months of usage, but is still super quiet. Airflow is good too, it creates a quiet gentle breeze on the lowest setting and a strong gust on the highest setting, perfect for most climates. The remote isn't great, it feels cheap but does make it far more convenient to change the fan settings without having to get up and go to the fan, the range is good enough to reach across a standard living room or bedroom. It uses 2 AAA batteries, and allows you to turn the fan on, set the timer, and adjust the speed.

Great Fan that does what it says it will
It says it is quietset and it truly is. Both myself and children are autistic with hyperacusis (noise sensitivity) and we have tried other fans that say they are quiet but they are not. This fan even at the highest setting does not bother us; saying that the fan is so powerful that it does the job on the 1st setting for most of the time. It is sturdy and doesn't look cheap. I did struggle with the instructions a bit but if I'd turned the page I would have found they were written out on that page, so totally my fault. Saying that it took me 10minutes top to put it all together. Having a remote is good and the timer function so you can fall asleep and it will turn itself off. Will be buying others for other rooms.

Seems good so far, will it survive beyond the warranty date though?
Nice looking, sleek unit. It is expensive though.I purchased this fan after my previous Honeywell "Quiet set" fan died only 2 months after the warranty ran out (I swear these things are set to die on a timer). It is quiet up to level three, though can rattle some on startup for a while. It's an improvement on the previous model as it does not beep and the settings lights dim out after a few seconds. I still have applied electrical tape to obliterate the dimmed lights as they annoy me.The circular shaped remote is a daft idea as if you need to change settings in the dark you cannot tell where the buttons are easily. Fortunately the normal-shaped remote from my previous one still works to control this new fan.

Good fan but assembly instructions are poor
Bought 2 fans, one is noise free, other one lots of noise. Instructions are very poor. Decent looking and is a good fan overall.

Quiet and powerful
This is the second Quietset fan I’ve bought, the first one I bought was back in 2016 and I’ve noted some improvements to this new one from that. They’ve improved the mechanism that holds up the head, it’s definitely stronger. The first fan can no longer hold its head up and ended up breaking, hence the reason for this purchase. I’ve also noted that the lighting on the front is also dimmer. Otherwise it’s the same fan and whilst not silent, is one of the quietest on the market whilst still moving a fair amount of air. I’ve tried other fans and none have the same amount of performance being as quiet as these are and for the money, they last a long time. Although I broke the mechanism on the first fan, it still works. Other fans I’ve had, the motors just end up dying and seizing up. So, I would recommend this just for pure value for money.

An extremely well made, powerful fan. Excellent!
This fan arrived ready for home assembly, with extremely clear instructions in correct English. Assemby took me around 20 minutes, taking my time. The fan is very sturdily constructed, with a heavy pedestal base and a robust metal pole support, a powerful motor prviding a range of fan speeds, a switch-off timer, and a remote control that operates all functions available on the main unit's operation panel. The height is adjustable, as is the tilt of the fan head.As a Honeywell product, I was expecting this fan to be of excellent quality and I am delighted with my purchase.
