High quality and works perfectly
What a perfect replacement to be able to combine my key and fob into one device. Instructions were clear and precise on how to program and local hardware store was able to cut the key blank. The battery cover is a little tricky to remove, but that’s probably more user error than device.

2014 F-150
it worked for a 2014 f-150, it just loses the remote start function because it does have the X2 button. If you have already the 2 original keys, it is very easy to program the sensor and to pair it the car.

Easily worked on Mustang 2007
I first took it to Ford to have it cut and programmed, but they LIED and said it wasn't compatible. I'd bought 2 of them so I was less than happy about it. However, I found a video online of a guy cutting the key and then showing you how to program it just by using the two original keys and turning them on and off a few times. Yes, it sounded awkward to do, but was actually easy and no one was more surprised that it worked than me! Here's how to do it after having key cut: 1. First original key, turn it on but do not start the car wait for "immobilizer" light to go out. then turn it off and within 5 seconds put in the next original key and do the same thing. Then with in seconds do the same with your new fob and it will remove the immobilizer setting so now the key will start the car. Now you're done with the immobilizer. But the buttons don't work... no problem. Take your original key and get ready to turn forward and back 8 times in a row. Very quickly. Keep in mind, you're not turning the car engine on, just turning the key forward to that point and then back. After the 8th time, you'll notice your car doors will cycle (meaning they will lock and unlock on their own.). When they do this, you'll just press the unlock button on your new fob IMMEDIATELY. I missed it first two times, but then was ready for it. Once you do this correctly, the key fob will be set up and everything will work. I couldn't be happier with the result. I promise you I'm a real person, in Chattanooga, TN. This is an honest review. Just follow the directions. There are also videos on youtube showing you this stuff too. Good luck!

Great key fob for the price
The quality overall is what you pay for. The plastic is tough with no signs of breaking or flexing. My only concern is the responsiveness of the buttons. There seems to be an excuse so slight delay BUT it is still a great product. The key shaft is sturdy with no signs of flex.

How did this get past quality inspection?!
My phone didn't save the pictures. When I get the key out of the bag first thing notice is the key has been cut, as well it doesn't stay locked open or closed. The back of the case cover is incorrect for that key amd they just tried to shove it on. The buttons weren't buttons. They were rocks that until you pressed super hard then the light would show indicating you pressed the button. As well the button to release the key to open or closed the hole in the case is wallowed out, looking like someone did it with a screw driver or a knife and jagged edges all the way around the hole. So obviously I didn't test to see connectivity to the vehicle. Can't speak on that behalf but it wasn't worth even trying. At this point so frustratingly, i set up the return real quick, mind you doing this in the middle of moving my girlfriend and her son in with me, and just immediately took it to khols to give me my account refund so I can try to give a different company a chance.. I don't know if this was a key that was sold before and someone tampered and sent back and no one checked it and just sent to me.. or if they are just that horrible at quality control that even junk like that makes it to the customer.. I can understand a sticky button or something not obvious. But this key wasn't even in one piece with the key hanging out of the housing while being locked in place. Either way rediculous this made it to a customer. I almost wish I could give a zero star. And I never leave reviews..

Great Product!
Great product! Worked well with my 2009 Ford Explorer. Very easy to program the remote and the key AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. They give you a link to follow and I posted a photo with the instructions that worked for mine. Make sure you READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions prior to attempting the procedures. SIDE NOTE: ACE would not program unless the key was purchased from them. Home Depot did it after I convinced them that it was a "Dumb Key" to just unlock the doors. It worked to manually unlock as well as with the remote. It started my truck on the first try.

Do Not Hesitate!
My car is a 2007 Shelby GT500. I looked at the back of my factory remote, got the CW#, matched it to the remote and ordered. Went to my local hardware store and they cut the key for me with no problem. They did not need to take the key out of the fob and cut it for me at no charge. Looked on YouTube and watched a couple videos on how to program the chip (I had two factory keys) and how to program the remote buttons. Both processes worked easily on the first try. This is a very nice, easy-to-program, easy-to-use upgrade to the factory remote. Do not hesitate to purchase this product!!! For less than the price of two replacement batteries, you get a modern, upgraded, flip remote key fob!

Good with some isuues
Used it for 2003 Mercury Sable, which is basically any Taurus or Sable 2000-2007 PROS: - no problem programming the remote itself for doors. - no problem programming the key and transponder, worked instantly - just follow their instructions. I cut the flip blade at a local locksmith for $7. - looks good and modern, less clutter in the pocket CONS: - short range, even with new battery Main problems: - the design and distribution of the buttons is not very good. I popped my trunk 3 times while turning on the engine, because your fingers will most likely press them by mistake white turning the key. - there is no tactile differentiation between buttons (you can't feel with your finger which one you are pressing). In low light, you would need a light source to look at the remote and see what you need to press. I fixed this by adding one drop of clear epoxy on the unlock and lock buttons, and now I feel the bumps with my thumb without having to look at it. Overall it is less functional on the button level, but looks modern and takes less space than having a separate remote and key.
